SIJ
Hello everyone,
I have an SIJ (I-360 approved) case and I applied for my green card (I-485). My priority date is April 2022. My case status shows “Fingerprints were taken.”
Has anyone with a similar timeline received their green card recently? How long did it take after biometrics? Any updates would be appreciated. Thank you.

i751 New message
Hey guys, my case today had an update on the message but not on the date. My last update was on 2/5/25 and the message used to say “Case is still being processed by USCIS”. Today, the message was updated to “USCIS is currently processing the case” but the updated date was the same 2/5/25. Do you guys have any thoughts? because now lawfully is not predicting my case anymore.
Interview the second time
Hello,
Is there anyone else in my shoe? I was interviewed in February this year and my case did not move from ready to be scheduled for an interview! I called and chatted with live agents but nothing! last week I asked if I could be connected to a tier 2 agent so they can let me know what’s going on with my case! the lady said my case states it will be scheduled for an interview, I explained to her that I already did it! she said she would escalate! today July 6 my case changed to scheduled for an interview! this would make it a second interview! has any one else experienced this? should I call Uscis or is it a system glitch? #sacramento field office! I am really tired!! since 2022! sigh
Maybe my case can help you in some way.
I’m writing this in case it helps someone. Adjustment of status approved; Green Card received in the mail today. I applied in Texas and am married to a U.S. citizen. The case moved quickly: there was a one-month gap between notifications—application and biometrics scheduling in March, biometrics in April, interview notice in May, and the interview in June. It was approved on the spot, thanks to a judge's order in Rhode Island. I applied for a work permit, but it never arrived.
I didn't hire an immigration lawyer or an interpreter; I handled the paperwork myself. I didn't apply for a travel permit (I’ve read on several sites that this permit is a major cause of delays). The interview lasted about an hour; we weren't separated. We spent 30 minutes talking mainly about how we met, how we got engaged, and what my plans were (to rule out preconceived intent regarding my tourist visa). The other 30 minutes were spent with the officer typing on the computer and scanning new evidence.
To provide some context on my profile—though I don't know if this worked in my favor compared to other cases—I am from Colombia, I have a clean travel history (with a visa and trips to multiple countries, never overstaying or accruing unlawful presence), and I am a physician by profession.
I hope for and wish everyone success with their cases. Be patient; it’s a matter of luck. If your marriages are legitimate, you have nothing to fear.

Case transferred back to NBC
Is it normal for the case to be transferred back to the NBC? My case was in NBC before, then transferred to Cincinnati and I received a request for evidence (only medical) on Jun 1st; I sent it on Jun 11th, but I never received an update. Today, I just found out my case went back to the NBC. Has this ever happened to anyone?
