NVC - Finally DQed!
Today, August 11th, we have been officially DQed.
Does anyone know when we can expect the interview letter to come? For reference, my husband will interview in Frankfurt, Germany.
So glad to finally be moving forward. We had to resubmit everything 3x and finally we have moved past all of that.
Just curious as to when we should expect the interview letter to come. We want to get the medical done in reasonable time. 🙏

NVC — Still waiting for DQ
Just posting this bc I hope my husband and I will receive the DQ notice this week (maybe Thursday Aug 14).
We are anxiously anticipating that everything will be accepted this time. Our submissions have already been rejected 3x. It’s already been 10 days since our most recent resubmission.
Thursday will make another 2 week wait. Prayers. We just want to reach the interview letter stage already. Our case has been at NVC since the 5th of June. 🙏

NVC Experience So Far…
Sharing my husband and I’s current status with NVC. It’s not going that well. We are livid.
3 July 2025: Fees are paid, DS-260 is complete, all docs are submitted for petitioner, joint sponsor, and applicant (I-864, I-864A, 1040 forms, W2 forms, civil docs).
17 July 2025: Submissions rejected for incomplete tax information for joint sponsor. And missing W2s.
19 July 2025: Everything is resubmitted.
31 July 2025: Submissions rejected again. This time it was for something so simple…they wanted my W2 in a separate file from my I-864. I had it attached to it. Wow…what a joke. Will we have to wait about 2 weeks again for them to see that “wow omg the W2 is in a separate file now”?!
This is pathetic. I sent another inquiry to them basically stating how ridiculous it is for something so simple as a separate file to take 2 weeks to be approved…like really? My husband and I are in pure misery.
It should not take 2 weeks to see that a separate file is now present in the account.
I hope “third time’s the charm”! 🤦♀️

*** UPDATE 2: OUR SUBMISSION WAS REJECTED AGAIN! What for? Oh, my W2 form was attached to the same file as the I-864. Looks like we will wait another 2 weeks! This is a joke…
*** UPDATE 1: Today (19 Jul 2025), I submitted my resubmissions to NVC. I also want to note that Form 1040 is what we needed to submit, not the Form 1099. NVC requested a 1099 from us, but we do not have this, as we didn’t have extra income that was not wages from our employers. I hope everything will be correct this time. I will continue to update this post!

Hi everyone. I am making this post to share my current situation after submitting the required AOS/tax docs to NVC.
What I submitted:
• Form I-864
• Form I-864A
• 2024 tax returns for myself as well as my joint sponsor
• Proof of relationship to joint sponsor (a birth certificate)
The submissions were partially rejected.
Reasons why:
• Each form needs to be submitted with every page included, even if some are blank.
• Regarding tax returns, I personally submitted my 1040 from 2024. This was accepted! However, my joint sponsor submitted their tax return account transcript for 2024. Apparently this was rejected? Don’t ask me why lol. So, I am having my joint sponsor obtain their 1040 for 2024 instead. But we will still resubmit with both (account transcript and 1040).
• They also requested W-2 forms from both me and my joint sponsor. So we will submit those also.
I just wanted to write this post to make everyone aware so that a hold-up like this could be avoided. :)

NVC - Getting DQed
It’s been 10 days now since submitting all the required documents + fees to NVC. We have still not received the email stating that we have been DQed. In our account, the documents don’t even say “Accepted” yet, so I don’t even think NVC has even looked at them.
We are giving it another week to see if we hear anything.
My husband and I are getting anxious because we keep seeing the majority of people saying it only took 5-7 days for them to receive the DQ email.
Our case was expedited so this is why it’s even more troubling to us.
Hopeful for this week…we are very stressed.

Interview Letter IR2 Category Yaounde Embassy
Hey everyone,
Just checking in to see if anyone with an IR2 visa case has gotten their interview letter from the U.S. Embassy in Yaoundé, Cameroon recently?
My case was DQ’d on June 27, 2025, and I’m trying to get a sense of which months they’re currently scheduling. If you’ve received your IL or know someone who has, I’d really appreciate it if you could share your DQ date and when the IL came through.

NVC CEAC + US Visa Scheduling Both Down?
Is anyone else having trouble getting onto the NVC website? My husband submitted his civil documents the morning of July 4th, and since then, we have had issues logging onto the site.
I’ve tried Safari, Chrome, and Firefox via my laptop, and he did the same. We even tried using Incognito Mode, but to no avail.
We tried both links to CEAC. Nope, nothing.
What DID work was when we turned off wifi and went on Apple’s Safari via our cellular data. Suddenly, we are logged in successfully…
The usvisascheduling site is also lagging terribly. It allows us to log on, but we cannot select our visa category when we are in. We hope it’s just because we haven’t been DQed yet. Does anyone have any experience using this website? We were told to make an account there as well…but I don’t hear many people mention this site. It supposedly allows you to schedule your interview, but I thought the consulate decides when the interview occurs?

My husband and I just submitted the requested civil documents to NVC. Now we wait for the notice that we are “documentarily qualified”. How long does it take to get this notice after submitting everything?
And how long after being DQed will we wait to hear that an interview has been scheduled for him at the consulate?
He will be at the consulate in Frankfurt, Germany, for reference.

Our Case is Documentarily Qualified on May 28,2025 and we are waiting for an Interview Letter for Us Embassy at Casablanca, Morocco. In the embassy website they are working on cases Feb 25, 2025.
Do you know how long does it Take for F2a Category (CR1)? By the way my wife is citizen.

Certificate of Good Conduct/ Police Clearance Certificate
Hey everyone! My husband finally received his interview letter from Djibouti after a long wait of 12 months.
My lawyer informed me that having a police clearance or a good conduct certificate is not mandatory for his appointment. she explained that Yemen certificates are not considered reliable. However, when I searched online, I found that a police clearance is required and doesn’t expire until two years if he hasn’t left the country. He already obtained a police clearance certificate over a year ago, but I’ve heard reports of people being informed during their interview that the certificate can’t be older than six months.
Does anyone have any insights or information on this matter?
