I-730-NVC-Appointment
#I-730 #NVC My I-730 petition is at the embassy and the interview has been scheduled. I am the petitioner and I just got my asylum-based Greencard. should I let the embassy know that I just got my Greencard. How will this help/affect my petition. Thank you!

@A.I I yoy don’t have to since 730 is based on your asylum and GC doesn’t matter here. you can give a copy to your family member, but i don’t think they will care. can you tell us more about your GC?when did you apply?how long have you waited for?interview no interview?thank you

thank you everyone. my I-730 was approved in March 2025 and requested expedited processing at NVC which was approved in New Delhi. I applied for my GC in Feb 2025 one year after asylum was granted by USCIS and was approved June 2025. No interview, no RFE.
