Day 25 of waiting for USCIS to make a decision after we submitted our response to their RFE. I hope it will not be longer than a 2 month wait. My husband and I have suffered so much financially. I actually suffered the most. And my studies have been put on hold. We just want to start our life together…
It’s honestly a joke that USCIS makes you go through a second waiting game if you get an RFE letter.
I hope this month we will be see the approval. We should have been approved in March like many other December 2023 filers were. Unfortunately, we got an RFE letter. And for what? Oh, our marriage certificate literally just needed to be translated to complete English. That. Is. All. 😅

Hello people!
Finally my case got approved yesterday. I’m happy to announce this news.
Also, for people who has received msg or email from USCIS saying “we have taken action your case” but didn’t receive approval. First, wait for 2-3 days to update on your uscis account. If still didn’t see, that’s means they have send your case for security Check to FBI and Interpole. This mostly happens when you marry some outside USA. It took 3 weeks to do verification of my case. I received notice on 7th April and they verified everything and now it’s approved. Be patience and believe in God, you all will get approval very soon.

Hello everyone, I just wanted to share with you the current status of our case for the CR1.
Petition Date: 7 December 2023
Actively Reviewing: 5 January 2024
Request for Evidence (RFE): 24 March 2025
Response to RFE: 7 April 2025
RFE Received: 7 April 2025
Actively Reviewing (Again): 7 April 2025
2 weeks ago, we received an RFE letter. All that we needed to submit was a translation of our marriage certificate w/ a new scan of our original certificate + the attached docs USCIS sent to us. We submitted the updated evidence today since we were on vacation 2 weeks ago and were not home to do this earlier. USCIS received our evidence, and the status of our case returned back to “being actively reviewed” like 10 minutes after they received it.
I am wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience with an RFE letter. How long until we could see an approval now? Lots of cases from December 2023 were approved last month and some are still being approved this month. We hope they will not forget our case. The evidence requested was so simple and it is all that was preventing a sooner approval for us ahhh. 🥹🙏
