SEVIS transfer and New I-20 while I-485 priority date being current
I'm a graduate student with F1 status and an approved I-140. I’m wondering if I have to transfer my SEVIS to another university and obtain a new I-20 while my priority date becomes current (meaning I’m eligible to apply for I-485 but haven't applied yet), will it be a problem? #F1 #SEVIS_TRANSFER #I-485

Case Transferred to FO
Ok! So a lot of people have been talking about their cases being transferred and I thought to myself, how does that knowledge help me? thanks to Reddit I can see my case Timestamp :- (when file was last updated/viewed/notes/transferred etc) but that information doesn’t really ease my weary mind. Decided to contact a live agent and I was told my case was transferred to Buffalo FO Dec 19, which does coincides with my case Timestamp Dec 20. Case was viewed again Jan 4.
How long does most cases stay at FO before being approved? I feel like it’s between a stroke of luck, perfect timing and location because the gods alone knows🙏#I-485 #timestamp #usc #widow #buffalo

Medical Examination RFE
Today at 9:20am I received two emails that action had been taken on my case. USCIS was under maintenance but my case changed to being actively reviewed by USCIS. Last Monday the 2nd I responded to RFE for medical exams and today the 7th I received this update, 5 days after they received my response. I hope to be approved soon. There is still nothing in the document tab but I am still waiting for that moment.
Those who have experience with how long it took USCIS to approve their I-485 after an RFE for medical examinations, asked me for it again because the ones they had on April 2022 had expired

9 Months since Interview, No Response PA-USCIS
We live in WestVirginia and have filed our case Oct 7, 2022. After long period of waiting finally we got a interview date, Me and my wife went to interview at Pittsburgh USCIS office in February 2024, our I-130 is approved but we are still waiting response for case I-485. We’ve sent 4-5 requests to them at different times to check but they basically told us to wait. It has been 9 months since we went to interview. We’ve reached out to Congressman’s office and Senator’s office for over wait time due to it has been over 2 year. The USCIS Pittsburgh office basically gave to them same response;
“Pittsburgh Field Office. USCIS is committed to adjudicating immigration benefits in a timely and efficient manner while also ensuring public safety, national security, and compliance with all relevant directives.
While a decision has not yet been reached, the case is currently under review. We are unable to determine at this time when the review process for the case will be completed.”
This is something beyond the efficiency problem.
We have no words to tell…
