Religious worker - Using EAD while GC is pending
My R-1 visa is going to expire soon. I got my EAD last October but didn’t use it yet. Now that we’re in retrogression, my attorneys said I can use my EAD and don’t have to file any extension of visa. Anyone in the same boat? What’s everyone doing during this retrogression?

Case re-opened
We had to reschedule our interview last year so I-485 was denied of course because we didn’t attend interview. I got letter in mail later that rescheduling was approved and new interview date will be scheduled. I applied for Vawa meanwhile and sent new I-485. Yesterday my old I-485 changed status from “case denied” to “case being actively reviewed” so they re-opened my old case. What does it mean for my AP? Is it valid still? Can I travel?

Expedite AP
How can I expedite my AP?? I sent documents and expedite letter on May 3rd and still no answer from USCIS!! Can I use lawyer just for expedite? It looks like USCIS is replying to lawyers but not to us. I’m not interested in emergency travel permit but expedite normal AP. This is frustrating. Thanks

Emma said my interview is waived but no update....
Hi everyone,
My PD is Sept 2022 and still haven't heard back about my travel or work permit.... 😔It was initially estimated to take 4-6 months, but it's been a longer wait, so I asked Emma about the status.
Emma said:
"Starting with the permanent resident application, it is processing normally nothing is needed at this time. The interview for this case has been waived so far. Keep in mind residency cannot be granted if there is a pending petition for you. Your employment and travel documents are completing the mandatory reviews. Once complete you will receive an alert. They are also still within processing time."
It looks like my interview is waived, but there is no progress on the Case Status page. It's still showing "Being actively reviewed" ever since I did fingerprints...
Anyone have an idea how much longer I would have to wait? or any other thoughts? 😂I just wish I could get the work and travel permit soon...
My case is a green card holder applying for green card for his spouse(me). And the documents are currently at NBC. I sumbitted all the documents at the same time except for the health exam, which my attorney suggested me to wait until we hear back from USCIS.

Hello, there is "Due to the numerical limitations on immigrant visa issuance prescribed by law, this petition is not eligible for further processing at this time. The National Visa Center (NVC) will retain the petition until an immigrant visa becomes available. The NVC will notify the petitioner, principal applicant, or attorney of record when this petition is eligible for further processing. The principal applicant should not make any firm plans such as disposing of property, giving up jobs, or making travel arrangements at this time." information in CEAC. I am the applicant, and my visa class is F11. I filled I 130 when I was single but I will marry in a month, so I will add my wife as a spouse. Will my visa class change from F11 to F31 or not? Will I face any problems?

How long am I gonna wait for an available visa? I received a Notice of Immigrant Visa Case Creation on the 18th of April.
