Medical Exam with AOS I-485
We filed I-485 and included everything we can think of but we’re still unsure on the medical exam. AOS is from k1. Medical exam was done July 2023 for the k1 process and I understand it’s valid 1 year but we weren’t given anything after the medical exam other than a disc and blank vaccine paper with a dr signature at the bottom. What should have been included with the I-485 to show proof the medical exam was done or would USCIS already have record of it?

Confusing I-130 Approval while pending concurrent I-485 (F2A)
Hello, I received my I-130 approval in the mail earlier today. It states the following:
""The above petition has been approved. However, you did not indicate on the petition whether the beneficiary intends to apply for an immigrant visa abroad at a U.S. Embassy or a U.S. Consulate or will apply for adjustment of status in the United States. Therefore, USCIS has retained the petition. If the beneficiary intends to apply for adjustment of status in the United States, they should submit a copy of this notice, along with a Form 1-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status."
The thing is, I confirmed in my I-130 application that I specified that I am applying for AOS while in the USA. I also submitted I-130 concurrently with I-485. Is this a mistake on USCIS end or is this a generic response? I'm just not sure if I need to do anything further.
I am married to a US green card holder. My priority date is Aug 2022 so I am aware that I am a few years off the current F2A date in the visa bulletin and not expecting a I-485 approval anytime soon. #i130 #i485 #approval #uscis #aos

Travelling with lost passport
Hello everyone ,
I recently lost my passport . I got temporary travel certificate from my home country embassy to travel back home . Also, I do have my advance parole document . if I travel back to my country with my advanced parole , and then get new passport back home and come back to the USA , is there a good chance to denying my addmission ? me losing passport and getting new one could jeopardize my case ? I am doing AOS through marriage

EBIC ROW GC Approved (from L1A)
Sharing my timeline for those still waiting. My I-140 was filed in April 2023 and approved in 3 days with premium processing. My I-485 was filed with my medical in June 2023, no interview, and status changed today to “new card being produced.” Good luck everyone! #I485 #EBI-3 #L1A #EB1C #AOS

i-485 approved 🤩🎉
So incredibly excited and relieved to get this news!! Now crossing my fingers that my husband gets his approved soon before the end of the month 🤞🙏
What a pleasant turn of events after spending the day heartbroken with the new bulletin and trying to come to terms with the EB3 retrogression likely impacting our application. I was not expecting a decision to come through within 60 days of filing, especially not today after the August bulletin was posted. Cannot wait to have the green card in hand 💚💚
Still some uncertainty in the air around my husband's application as my dependent. I am hoping for the same decision in the coming weeks before August kicks in, otherwise we'd get impacted by the May 2020 retrogression (PD Dec 2021).
What are our chances here? I am trying to remain optimistic but there seems to be a varying range for the approval gaps between primary and dependants.
I am still so elated and grateful, but really hoping my luck extends to my husband's AOS soon enough 🙏

Expedite EAD - marriage based - chance of approval?
#ead #expedite #congressman #emma #aos #I-765
Hello,
I have pending case AOS
Priority Date 03/31/2023
Married to U.S. Citizen
Concurrently filing I-130, I-485, I-765.
Adjusting from F-1 Student (Changed status from B-2 Visitor to F-1 in december)
I have financial hardship. It took a turn for the worse. And it started to be a problem between me and my husband. This is emotionally draining. We recently bought a house together through mortgage. I got some bills under my name. I don’t have my name on mortgage due to not having income to prove.
I saw some posts that people were trying to expedite their EAD via Emma while the others were trying to process with congressman.
What do you think? Which way should I try first?
I have car insurance, phone bill, water bill and electricity(joint) under my name, and some doctor appointment because of my really high blood pressure and some debts from hospital (from september). Do you think that I have to have job offer in addition to all the things above mentioned? Should I mention about hardship in our marriage in consequence of unemployment?
P.S : I have social security number from my previous Work and Travel program.
Should I try to expedite by myself firstly?
Thank you so much for your opinions!

I noticed many people didnt got their i131 approved and they got i485 approved directly.
any insights would be really good.

How long after courtesy medical I-693 deficiency letter did you get in update - RFE to send it or interview notice?
Thanks in advance! Please share your experience - a lot of us are posting the same question. Tried to make a poll to summarize. Ideally it is for someone with already approved petition (like I-130, I-140, I-360) and pending Adjustment I-485, not initial filing. Thanks again!🫶🏼

NVC Petitioner Affidavit of Support
hello all,
I filled out & submitted status proof n affidavit of support for my joint sponsor and it’s over 5hrs it hasn’t updated yet, is that normal? it said it should take 1hr to update. Also I noticed for me the petitioner, when I click “start now” to upload my affidavit of support and financial documents, it’s taking me else where (under civil documents), instead of where I’m supposed to see the area to upload these informations is there any issues I should be concerned about? or what can I do differently? #nvc #aos #petitioner
