I put in an expedite request on the 16th of October through uscis Emma and through congressman. They're both still pending till now ive called them multiple times and they tell me my expedite request is still pending (not denied or approved). I'm waiting till the 16th to call them again because that'll make it one month. I'm on day 140 of waiting for work permit, i think most get approved around 150 to 180 days of waiting.

yes that is what I have heard. i did the request with congrassman and nothing. I just did the request but I did it on my uscis acct. and noticed my i765 changed. in the morning it said 1 week and in the afternoon when i sent the request it changed to taking longer than expected. which means they have opend my case But will wait this week to see what they tell sme. usially they answer me within days. Best of luck and hope we get out work permit soon.

@Steph Gav The countdown time us very unreliable, no need to put any importance towards it. You can call uscis and ask them about the status of the expedite you put. when you call just say "infopass" to talk to an agent. What's your Priority date ?
