Prosecutorial discretion
Hello dear Community
I have a question regarding PD and termination of removal proceedings....
I have been married since 2018, I got NTA in January 2019( asylum referred to Immigration Court)...
Due to COVID , my Master Calendar Hearing was rescheduled twice for July 2023...
However; since birocracies in my country of birth combined with COVID restrictions, I was not able to file I-130, because I couldn't obtain my birth certificate....
Now I finally got it, and I want to file I -130 in February....
My question is, does someone have any knowledge or information on requesting a PD(prosecutorial discretion) before I file I-130 , so I can terminate the case or at least administratively close, so I can file the whole AOS package together concurrently....
My lawyer is not very supportive, she insists that I have to file I -130 first, and even in that case the ICE attorney might not agree to terminate, (cause my I-130 will be only pending, and not approved...)
But I've heard from sooo many people experiences, that these days ICE or even judges themselves are just willing to dismiss cases so they can clear the backlog....
I'm really confused and beg anyone for advice please...
Do I really need to file I -130 or I can request PD or termination with the judge first.
(Clean background and no criminal records in my history)...
Thank you all, and apologies for the long message 🙏

i824
Hello everyone,
please I want to make an enquiry. my i130 petition has been approved but I needed to file an i824 so my documents will be transferred to NVC. while I was filling my i1824, I left the questions part that didn’t apply to me instead of writing N/A (Not applicable) on them. do you think this will be an issue?
Immigration Master Hearing
Hello community, so i do have my masters hearing coming up, and my lawyer wants to attend through zoom. Is it advisable for me to go meet my lawyer in her office so we both attend the hearing through zoom together? Or I should go in person to the immigration office while my lawyer attends from his office? Please advice.
NB- we are both in different states
My lawyer said either way is fine. Does anybody have similar situation? Please advice me. Thanks
Is it better to file asylum at the entry point or after entering.
Does anyone have knowledge of which way is better in terms of a better chance for asylum approval? Does it make difference to file for asylum at the Airport or after entering the Country?
I have my parents-in-law coming from Ukraine and I want to know which option is better or if both are the same in their case due to the known war between Ukraine and Russia.
Can they file it by themselves or hire a lawyer?
although all documents were submitted and approved in NVC website it is showing missing
Hello, I submitted all the required documents. They were all approved. When I logged in today it is showing missing. Do you prefer resubmit again? Could it be a system glitch? Wait few days? Missing documents were Picture, Passport and police Certificate. These were the first thing I submitted at the beginning of the applications.
please anyone with experience or help should please comment 🙏
My visa category is IR2 and I was told to provide some additional documents which is known to be administrative processing but am concerned I track my visa case and I kept seeing READY instead of administrative processing (refused or 221g) but I noticed something I submitted my documents on Wednesday and when I track it it was written that my case was last updated 2 dec which was Friday does these means they've received the documents I submitted and they've start working on it. also I tracked my passport and it was saying my passport is still with the US consulate am just so concerned and also please does anyone know how many days it take to for my visa to be issued since it now with the US consulate lagos back again
