hi everyone! just a question if it’s fine to change my address and state before moving? i just wanna make sure i change it asap before they transfer my case to field office.
i will be moving in 2 weeks but they said uscis confirms the change of address too late. thoughts please :/

it has been 400+ days since I filed i-140 and ~300 days since approval and I still can’t file AOS! wait is too long and this is incredibly painful. i don’t know long i will have to wait. hope all this mess ends in 2025!

Hello everyone, my company filed an extension for my I-129 on September 5th in Texas center, and my visa is set to expire on January 5, 2025. Still my case status is in Case Received status. it is going to be almost 4 months now. Is anyone else experiencing a similar issue? Little-Known Path to Citizenship (In under 1 year - for GC holders only)*
I wanted to share with you all a path to citizenship that one of my clients took when I was working as a paralegal. They got their Green Card and, within just a few months, became a U.S. citizen.
in return they had to commit to it for 3-4 years, spending one paid weekend a month.

Finally done with this journey!
It was for sure a rollercoaster with RFEs for both the I-140 and I-485. Definitely more stressful for the latter.
Had to deal with a stubborn civil surgeon who messed up my form and refused to admit his fault and comply with the official RFE request. Ended up having to find a new one and pay again.
Lesson learned: always go with a trusted recommendation from a friend or others.
Also had to apply for OPT via premium processing simultaneously under a tight timeline.
Surprisingly, I-485 approval came just a few days after the OPT submission. OPT EAD also got approved that Sunday. Both cards arrived fast before Christmas via USPS Priority Mail. Glad it wasn’t much of a delay during the holiday season.

is it safe flying with ADIT stamp while on process?
Hi everyone,
I’ve been in the VAWA process for about a year and a half now and had a few questions. I previously had a 2-year green card and started my VAWA application while I still held it. When my green card expired, I visited a USCIS office to request a passport stamp (ADIT), but since my passport was close to expiring, they issued me a temporary ADIT page instead—a document that functions like a 1-year green card, rather than stamping my passport.
My question is: can I use this document to travel internationally, or is it not recommended?
