I had my interview for my I-130 and I-485 forms on May 28, 2025. They said that my GC had been approved but just my I-130 is approved. I-485 still active under review after 26 days
I had my interview for my I-130 and I-485 forms on May 28, 2025. They said that my GC had been approved and that I would receive an update on my I-485 the following day and my I-130 as well. My I-130 was approved on May 29 and my I-485 has not been updated so far. It's just that the case is active and under review. It's been 26 days! Has this happened to anyone? I did the interview in Atlanta GA

pending security clearance
Hello Vawa family. My vawa is pending for required security clearance. I don't have any criminal record. My biometrics is done dec,2020 which is almost 5 years ago. I believe biometric only valid for 15 months. Is it possible my security clearance is pending cause biometric is too old?
Being denied entry to US with a greencard
Hi everyone,
I have been reading many posts about people being afraid of leaving the US and coming back and being denied entry or being detained and deported. I know the border agents have the right to deny entry and a greencard does not mean that you are not inadmissible to the US. There are very clear reasons that a person can become inadmissible. I am talking about things outside of the obvious.
I went down a 4 hour rabbit hole tonight of reading articles. I do feel there is a lot of fear mongering happening and things can be told in away that supports a narrative. My husband is a lawyer (not immigration) and also feels so much of what is in the news is false or misleading. News is a business and scaring people sells.
I would really like to hear from people who have either had problems crossing or directly knows someone. Not through a story on the news. There are a handful of cases that I read about in the news about being denied and detained but only a couple were regarding people with a greencard.
Wishing everyone the best
