Processing time is a joke
If people PD June 2021 and earlier get approved in 2025 and the later gets approved in 2026. So basically we get 5 year processing time? That is even slower than a turtle walking. That doesn’t make any sense to be slow. I remember by December 2022, there are about 8-9k I-140 cases waiting for decision. If they issue about 9k cases in 2023 and about 8-9k in 2024. They should make it to even late 2021 or early 2022. USCIS is shitty about issuing our legal cases while some consulate cases in Vietnam get Green Card in 2-3 years. While a lot of us are single or no dependent, they wait for what and issuing cases that have many dependents from Vietnam, most Vietnamese family I know at my work are 3-4 dependent. This category should not be backlogs for so long, it’s been 2 years backlogs and they don’t move even more than a year. Shitty processing and shitty system.
I-485 Case Transferred
I reached out to USCIS customer service and asked about if any update in my case, the agent told me that my case was transferred to cleveland field office (i live in NJ) in 03/19/2024 (PD 11/03/2023) and they have waived the interview and not requested any additional information, has this happened to anyone and if so how long took to get the approval?
latest on my case
Got another RFE after two years and this time for medicals. They asked me to send it directly to my local field office address(May be my case is with them ?) not sure , but mailed it priority as they instructed on RFE notice.
filed EAD renewal on April 18th and still didn’t get any receipt notice for that. please advise anyone
