EB1 Current situation
Hi There, I've a complicated situation. Am an indian national on L1A managerial visa and my employer haven't filed/started the GC process yet. it's been 2+ years on L1A visa already close to renewal period. Am in a frustrated situation right now as nothing is moving forward with this employer. I know through L1A we can file on EB1. am thinking of moving to H1B as I have previous approved petition(not stamped).
what are the pros and cons on this?
1).Is it better to wait for some more time on L1A(less paid job) , I know EB1 went back to few years and no longer current and not sure when it will become current.
2). Is it worth waiting? as EB1 queue is not moving forward at all based on last 1 year data.
2). Move to H1B(may be with good salary) and wait in queue for lifetime for the GC.
kindly let me know and suggest further on this situation.
I131 Denial
Received a denial from USCIS on my travel document and not quite sure what the exact reasoning was yet. Waiting on the letter to come in the mail and explain what went wrong. Very frustrated on how Uscis is handling things. Anybody else experience this before?
I have a valid I765 but no I131 to travel for work.
Today I got an update on 485 🤷🏻♀️
Agent said today my 485 was transferred to Charlotte feild office, However my home state is Maryland. The Lady said , when USCIS sent 485 to other feild where is not you home office. IT MEANS THEY WAIVED your interview, soon you will get an RFE for your medical because old medical form expired. Has anyone had or heard something like this .

Hello, does anyone have experience with AAO they can share? . I just chatted with Emma and the live agent said my application has been forwarded to them. I submitted my request to open/reconsider through a lawyer after denying my I-140 NIW in July, 2023. I’ve sent three service requests, one through me and two through my House of Representatives office and was told they don’t have a timeline. The agent didn’t tell me when my application got transferred but has put in a fourth request for me. This is really tiring.
Husband’s i-485 was reopened but ead renewal is denied.
Hello. I just wanted to share our dilemma of our green card application and maybe someone here have the same experience.. My husband’s employment based i-485 was reopened in late 2023. He applied for EAD renewal in March 2024 and today, per online case status it says his EAD was denied, case is terminated. We never got a notice letter of this decision so we don’t understand what’s going on. We haven’t received the denial letter for his EAD either. Would appreciate your thoughts or related experience on this issue. Thank you.

Finally submitted the documents
I finally found the courage and energy to gather all my AOS application documents (I-131, I-765, I-485) and mailed them last week. It was an exhausting process, even more so than writing a PhD dissertation. The USCIS lockbox received the package this morning. Now the waiting game begins! Good luck to all of us, and Godspeed to the USCIS employees! May you all have the energy and stamina to process our applications swiftly.
God is great. I wanna share with you guys that today I received this update that a new card is being produced. My lawyer called me and said it is a sign that my VAWA is finally aproved after expedite
I am so thankful for all your prayers, all the positive words. I hope my story helps other people. Check ir you guys don't have a chance to expedite your cases based on any of their accepted reasons.
