hi folks.im need my people help here.im in toxic marriage last week i was there for my 1485 and i130 interview.they separated us first they called my usc wife for interview .during the interview my isc wife created a big argue and verbal fight wit io officer. even though I had to withdrawal my case . im done with this toxic relation.i have no choice except VAWA. I need your suggestions for a very good and experienced vawa lawyer in New Jersey or New York area. thanks in advance

I attended interview last month for i485 officer not made the decision up front said within 30 day they sent me notice.I received an email it says my case approved and I will get my oath ceremony.is this normal like I never received gc ever how come they will send me notice for oath.please help me

hello.. looking for some hope.

140, 765, 130 and 485 filed concurrently - June 2023 with medicals
biometrics done July 2023 and applied to all cases.
working directly for a bank since last 7 years.
received approvals on 140 and 765 in Sep 2023.
130 remains pending since filing..
485 moved to NBC in Dec 2023. 4 weeks ago status changed to CRP as visa numbers were exhausted for current year but now it should be approved right?
will my case be approved soon? will it be sent back to FO? I thought NBC can adjudicate themselves?
Are people in my scenario getting interview calls? no red flags. clean employment and no unlawful status ever.

Talked to a live agent today to see if my I-130 case was indeed upgraded since I became a citizen in 2022, was told that she didn’t see anything in the system. My lawyer told me that she did sent it to them, I guess that’s why my case is taking so longggg. Anyways the agent did put it in the system for me and I got a reference number, hoping for the best right now.

It was a very though battle trying to be patient and hopefully. God really came through for me, and He will for everyone reading this 🙏🏾
The timeline isn’t the same for everyone, don’t worry about why someone else got theirs before you, just be patient. Some people got the Medical RFE days/few months after VAWA approval, I started getting worried because mine wasn’t the same. It took 400 days before my RFE came, and 30 days from when my medical was delivered to get approved. Imagine waking up for 430 days with so much anxiety?! After the first weeks of worrying, I had to let it go and hand it to God. It’s really hard, but let go and let God.

RFE responded but no update!!!
Responded to I-485 Medical RFE and it was received by USCIS on September 10, 2024( according to FEDEX TRACKING). Still nothing updated on the app. Just worried about the status update. Any idea how long approximately it takes for them to update ( average time)? Thank you! If there’s anyone else in similar situation please share your feedback and thoughts. Thank you !!

Hello everybody, i had my marriage greencard interview on october 3-2024, and today i received a message from USCIS saying:” an action has been taken on your case” . when i checked on my account it only says that my I130 is being actively reviewed . does anybody know what does this mean? My I485 has no changes only says interview was completed. Thank you in advance !
