Finally after 782 days, case was approved. I actually sent a letter to Senator Durbin asking for help and assistance to follow up on my case last 2 weeks ago. the secretary replied and said they will follow up on my case. i dont know if thats the reason it was finally approved. but who knows. ive tried everything just to see my son. good luck to all guys. still waiting for my own case too, renewal of greencard.

FINALLY!!
After about only 3 weeks of filing the hardship waiver, husband got his case approved and new card is being produced! 🎉🎉🎉 Wouldn’t have been able to do this without our lawyer!
It’s been a long 2 years, but we made it!
There was a huge mess with USCIS sending RFEs to old/incomplete addresses (after we changed the address to the correct one THREE TIMES ONLINE), triggering this delay. And not to mention the slowness the pandemic caused.
I contacted senators and even the governor for help. Eventually we hired a lawyer to assist us and with the I-601.
Don’t lose hope! And make sure you present really good and thorough evidence!

What about i129F after i130 approval
Edit:: Those who are asking my PD.It is actually early 2019, and my case got upgraded later. Still it was a long wait period of almost 3 years unfortunately. I will say every case is different.Good Luck for yours.
Hi Everyone! We applied for i130 and because of long wait of 2years we submitted i129F as well. Now that i130 has been approved we no longer want to proceed with i129F. Will i129F be automatically cancelled by USCIS? or do we need to request for that?
Finally! Really upset about waiting times though!
I suffer dor people in my situation and even worse, something have to change!
But this might be hope for people waiting for more than 16 months for I-140 (EB2-NIW).
This shows that long waiting times doesn't need to be a negative sign.
