Case Approved
interview was today and was approved on spot. Chicago FO
It’s time to give back to this community cos it really helped so much. my interview was 8am in the morning after going through the security check we were asked to wait to get a number. the wait was about 10mins and after getting the number we were called in by the officer about around 15mins later. the surprising thing is that this is our first interview but it was a stroke interview. our officer was a very nice young white man and was very professional the whole time…..he took me in first and asked me questions from the i485 and then the yes or no questions they he asked if I had more evidence I would like to present so I gave him the following evidence…
1:Current lease
2)auto and life insurance
3)our recent vacation tickets and hotel reservations
4)joint membership like costco,Amazon,Netflix
5)bank statements
6)phone bills
7)light bill on my wife’s name
8)internet bill in my name
9)more pictures.(he don’t seem interested in pictures at all cos he only looked at about 3 out about 60 pictures) he was more interested in other evidence like bank statements
He asked me lots of questions about my wife and about our apartments. here are the filling questions I could remember.
1)where did I meet my wife
2)who messaged who cos we met on a dating app
3)the last time I met my wife’s family
4)where my wife lives while we were dating and who she lives with
5)he was so focused on our joint account and looked at the transactions and I asked me to show him my personal transactions. And he also asked how we fund the account and if my wife’s salary goes into the account.(it went there for few months but we had to switch it back to her personal account). He also asked if we have separate accounts. I was honest and told him my wife has two different accounts and I had another one myself and he didn’t have problem with that
6)he asked me when I met my wife’s mom
7)he asked me who my wife was living with before we got married
8)he asked me what we did on our fast date
9)he also asked me what time she went home on our first date
10)he also asked how we pay rent if it was by check or cash.
11)he also asked if we have room Mates
12)my wife had changed her job so he asked the details about the job
13)he asked if we took vacations together
13)he asked how many rooms we have and if we sleep in the same bedroom and what we do with the other rooms
14)he also asked if we have carpet in the room
15)he asked if any of us was married before or if we had kids
16)he asked how many siblings I have
17)he asked if my wife and my family talks
18)he asked about my wife school and what year she will be graduating and what she was studying.
19)he asked where we had our weeding and who went with us
18)he asked questions about our vacations too and and they names of our friends we took pictures with.
19)he asked if I worked and I told him yes and also what I do for work. And he asked if I got cash….I don’t have ssn but he don’t care. Cos I was 100% honest
20)what day of the month we pay our rent
He was tying all my answers in the computer…. He called my wife in and asked me
To go wait outside. He asked her same questions and all the answers were the same. And he said everything looks good and he will be approving us. He came out with my wife again and said he approved us.
It was so much of questions and another officer was in the room too but I was just honest about everything and never lied nor my wife. My advise is just go prepared for anything cos we never thought we would get separated We were done in about an hour. If you have any questions please ask. My pd was jan 7th…Good luck to you all… 🇳🇬
