@Hopeful Girl , no live agent will discuss Vawa related cases on phone with you because of its sensivity. You have to write a letter whenever u want to make enquiries about your case.

congratulations. please would like to know if the case is expedited because I filed in august of last year, received prima facie in October, did biometrics in august this year and I’m yet to hear anything and no update as well, I don’t know what to expect

@steve black it was vawa based. @a l I never got update online, just jumped from finger print taken to receiving the interview date by mail. @diyan s I got the interview letter three days later they made it, by mail. @chichi nope, never did expedite. I was waiting to get employment card to expedite the I485, but to my surprise when I got the interview letter because I thought it was employment card. @gaf vee my I360 was approved in July 26,2019. then I applied for i485 in March this year. @sam davila i had interview yesterday morning, two hrs later I received the update in this app.

I got to my appointment on time, however it takes time to check in because of the line and people ahead of me. I waited like 30 minutes to be called, the officer walked me to his office and requested my passport, employment authorization card and driver license. after that he started asking questions on my I485, back and forward since the day I arrived to United States. who do I live with, where do I work, how did I get this position there, for how long I’ve been working there, the address I lived with my spouse… the 50 “no” questions etc. Finally he told me he was going to proceed with my petition and approve it. Then he advised me to talk to my lawyer about my citizenship, with the pros and cons being this a vawa case. walking out asked about my son and how old he is… the hallway was the longest hallway on my way out… I then spent the day shaking because of being so nervous and not believing it myself that all these years of waiting and suffering were over. btw the update of approval was made 15 minutes ago lol I’m still processing this😅 🤣
