Hello, I have a question. I have my EAD work permit and travel permit approved. My vawa is still pending approval. My lawyer sent the whole package. But my question is, can I still get the green card if I entered illegally and got deported back then? My lawyer says that I won't be able to but I have my doubts. Many people say that I can get my green card but others say I can’t. I'm very confused, is there anyone else in this situation?

when prayers are being heard
patience is key (even though my patience was calling at least every 2 months and bugging about the case lol) it finally happened. but their document and writing is not clear :D they state its approved (Im so thankful for) but it also says “might need biometrics” or “could receive card” - what is that ?! how long after this APPROVED announcement to receive it? I might pee my pants of happiness (and because pregnant and your body does weird things)

goodday my case was approved. I have one question. I’m currently in the US and look to change my status meaning I would have to do the I-485, can submit the I-485 and the EAD form at the same time and then the travel documents that’s the I-131 at a later date? or is it that all 3 should be submitted concurrently?

Hello guys! I passed my interview last Monday (October 24) my oath ceremony will be taking place end of November due to name change because they do it the same day at that field office. Can anyone tell me how to update USCIS about that? after the oath so that my kids I-130 forms can switch to US citizen petition for kids instead of us resident petition??? Thank you
