Boston: had my interview today!!! approved
overall experience was Good.
Went for my interview today in Boston at 10:15am. waited for a bit over an hour in the sitting area. Then a random “very serious” looking agent walked to me and my husband , asked me for my Passport and interview notice (we weee very confused…) then called my husband to go with him. (normally, they would call your number so you know it’s your turn, but he didn’t call my number, he just walked around the room, and walked to us. Feel like it was a random, cold-call situation). Anyways, I was a bit upset cuz the way he walked to us and just starting asking for documents. BUT, the entire experience was good. There weee two agents in the room, BTW. He asked my husband first for about 5-7 mins, and he called me in (asked about the same questions as he asked my husband) for about 5 mins. He took my picture, and finger prints (without telling me why…, but I did it anyways lol) and then, he said “ I am going to approve your case now, you should receive the card in about a week”. I was like, WHAT?!! thank you!! and he looked through my passport, visa pages, if we have any questions before we left.
- He did not ask seeing any of the documents I brought with… he only asked for my passport, and interview notice; which it makes sense, we did submit EVERYTHING in the application.
- He was very serious, but VERY nice gentleman.
- the entire interview felt like about 10-15 mins, if that.
- He first asked for my Physical Exam, and went through really quick.
- questions like:
a few Yes/ no questions, very simple.
then,
1. how/where we met? (what did we do on our first date?)
2. my husband’s working schedule
3. my husband’s parents name
4. where we live
5. future plans
The entire greencard process was about 9 months (thank lord) Now I am just waiting for the card!! yah.

EAD approved after 3 expedite rquest and denial.It took a total of 296 days.
After 7 years of break ,I got a job offer .But my EAD was pending.The company accepted to wait for 1 month.I raised 2 ER's and all of them were denied.The company finally withdrew their offer.It was a painful experience and today my statua is changed to New card being produced

Please if you received your work permit recently after biometrics like I have been seeing in the new trend. Please comment how many days it took you to get work permit notice after you filled. Mine is 33 days, I did biometrics 9 days ago. It is only showing actively reviewed since 9 days after biometrics….

I just got my approval on I485. there is still no update on I130. the approval notice says “ prior to receiving your permanent resident card you may be required to report for biometrics processing”. i have done my biometrics before. so it that just a template?
