Experience:
We arrived 30 mins before our appt time wen through security check. After that we went to see officer in reception cubicle, he asked for interview letter and passports of my husband and mine. We were told to sit in the lobby until we were called. We waited for about one hour and 20 mins.
Finally, one officer called us and took us into a hallway full of rooms, after we entered, she asked for our marriage certificate, birth certificate, and any supporting documents that we would like to provide. We gave all the documents we prepared and arranged accordingly. It was about 30-40 mins of all the scanning and uploading.
She said she will start the interview then, she started asking questions about how we know each other, our story how we met. We shared our pictures and album of our pre-wedding shoot and engagement ceremony we had. She was really impressed with the details and our supporting evidence. she later asked my husband background questions/ criminal record questions. After 15 mins, when she’s done asking questions she said she will approve our green card, explained how to remove conditions and said congratulations and showed us our way out.
I was really looking for experiences so I’m sharing mine.
