Are there any approvals from August 10 from Nbc case transfered to Queens field office
Hello Guys,
I hope God helps everyone with a fast and easy process because i know how difficult and stressful is to wait for such a long time with no response at all.
I Filled August 10 2023, Married to a Us Citizen, and since then nothing changed beside just biometrics.
No Rfe.
I got an email 7 months ago that we have taken an action in your case.
When i go and see the case it says "Case is being actively reviewed",nothing beside that.
I Reached to my governor 1 month ago and still no response yet.
I reached to agent and they told me your case was transferred to Queens Field Office.
Anyone here same as me how more longer we have to wait?

n400 - “case is taking longer”
I filed 751 last July for extension of green card and n400 this April for naturalization so I get combo interview. Receipt said NBC but my interview will be Detroit field office based on my location (I’m assuming based on I 485 experience). When I checked today, the online status says “your case is taking longr than normal to process”. is this a generic message anyone can get or does it mean my background checks are specifically stuck somewhere?
Does getting a REF for medical mean that things in your application are okay?
Hi everyone, does anyone know if getting a REF for a medical mean that other things in your file/application are okay like documents and biometrics?
Thank you 🙏

The most happy day of my life
My process was a little difficult because the lawyer who helped me fill out my forms did it wrong, but I managed to find a great person who helped me and now after a year and two months I am approved.

The very annoying timeline which driving us crazy
This is what I learnt and experienced in the past 978 days waiting . I wish I could let those who have the pending case like me , stop checking that site every few hours , and wish to see miracle .
Relax , live normal , don’t get depressed and frustrated like most of us do in this painful waiting .
1. CASE IS BEING ACTIVELY REVIEWED -
It means nothing , as some people seeing this update, really next couple days got their approvals . But 95% of us , have this serval times , and nothing happening for months or another 1-2 years . So don’t be excited each time when you see it again .
2. CASE IS APPROVED -
Another torturing waiting is the actual documents when to be arrived by mail after approval . Some cases they did not even update to the next stage , “ CARD IS BEING PRODUCED “ , but you finally got yr cards on hand . Even u called and talked to the agent , things they mentioned was exactly what u saw at yr timeline . They seldom help !
Don’t waste time to communicate with them , their attitude are always rude, like you are talking to a robot .
3. PROCESSING TIME -
It is the most ridiculous part of USCIS site . You could be happy that they suddenly posted 2 months away form approval on your timeline . Then next morning back to 18 months long . or even you got approval , it still showing 12 mths more waiting .
So Completely igonore it !
4 . When is my time for interview or approval -
I feel so sad each time I see the hopeless applicants exactly like me , repeatedly asking this . Sadly to say , no one in this group could tell you , even your lawyer and the live agent . ONLY GOD KNOW ! Lawyer before they tried to get yr business and deposit would tell you 8 months max for most of the cases .
Some lucky familes here only 100 days got their approval , some pity ones like me over 975 days or over 3 years , even we are our cases are straight forward , nothing complicated . There is no pattern, logics or PD date to follow at all .
5. Congressman to help or expedite yr case -
expedite yr I485 case , as soon as yr application was received . Some people really got it much quicker. for i131 you could expedite it when u submit your application at the same time .
once you found you are out of the processing time. Ask congressman to help without delay . First this is free of charge , secondly I really got my advance parole on hand less than 14 days with their big help, after 2 rejected expedite and 970 days waiting .
so I am really highly recommend to reach out yr Congressman for help !
We don’t deserve all this painful waiting , it hurts our mental health , daily life and even our marriage , as we are always in big stress and uncertainty , on top we are not able to see our families in our home countries . But we already paying tax as a responsible US citizen . All this frustration really drive all of us here crazy .
Fortunately we find families &@ friends here , to share , to air out and to help . Let us know we are not alone !
Again thank you so much for everyone here for the communication and support . Even one day I got finally approved , I will keep staying , to support those who need my bad experience as a reference and support .
My best regards ,
Victoria
