Question about U.S. Citizenship Interview: Does My Partner Need to Attend? N-400
I have my U.S. citizenship interview this week, and in the letter I received, it doesn’t specify whether my partner needs to come with me. My green card interview was waived, so I'm not familiar with the process for citizenship interviews.
Does my partner need to attend the citizenship interview, or is it only necessary if specifically requested?
Thanks in advance for any insights!

@ola pepsicola Are you filing under the 3 or 5 year rule? if you are filing under the 3 year rule then you need to bring your spouse and some more marital evidence.

@ola pepsicola You are required to bring your spouse, if filing under the three year rule. What time is your interview?

@ola pepsicola Take your spouse with you. You have nothing to lose. If your spouse is needed then he/she is right there. If not, then they still get to be there to support you.

I just completed my interview . My husband was asked to wait in the car. The interview took less than 20 minutes. I just wanted to mention these just in case someone has the same question as I did
