Please give advice.
I was forced or pressured by 2 government officials to send out my AOS packet without my i693 due to my i94 being expired. I have a medical appt for the 20th & planned to send the i693 with my AOS on that day. I ended up listening to the officers & sending my AOS without it I plan on sending my i693 a few days later. What will happen?
After 18 months denied us reason for denial is Indian Beneficiary's decree, we did provided them with divorce judgment,court order translation& they called divorce dcree & straight denied. #Suggestion
I'm US citizen and US army reservist My wife, an Indian beneficiary, and I filed our i130 application on August 16, 2023. We initially submitted the divorce decree from her previous marriage (which occurred in 2022) along with the court order when we applied. However, we later realized that we had uploaded the wrong documents.
In April 2024, we uploaded the correct court order from the Indian government, along with a certified English translation of the document.
In November 2024, we received an RFE (Request for Evidence) asking for the divorce decree. We resubmitted the same documents, thinking that USCIS may not have reviewed the ones we uploaded earlier. Unfortunately, our case was denied on January 31, 2025, after waiting 17.5 months.
We are now uncertain whether we should appeal the decision or reapply entirely. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

How long? 😔 Its been 5 years!
Ive been waiting for 5 years and nothing happens. In 2023 my case was returned to USCIS, and a year after that USCIS notified that their original form was correct and they just returned to NVC. They mistakenly returned my case and I think this is delayed in certain way. My proprity date is Oct 2019. Do you think they should process my visa this year? (my lil sister is going to have 3 years in USA already)
