I-130 for my daughter
Hey everyone.
So I have this problem. My husbands case was approved (YAY!!) and we’re now waiting for the welcome letter from NVC. Unfortunately our daughters case is still in USCIS since I’ve submitted her petition almost 11 months after my husbands case. My fault, I thought I only had to write down her name in my husbands petition, turned out I was supposed to file a separate one for her. Do I have my husbands case wait in NVC until our daughters case catches up, or is there a way to synchronise their cases later on so that they could go to the interview together? All three of us are living outside the U.S.A currently. Was anyone in the same situation?
Can someone please tell me the next step and how long does it takes?
Any idea how long does it take to get approval on i-485? is it the last step to get greencard?

I-485 (EB2 - NIW) approval! - after CRP
My I-485 was approved today! I did not apply concurrently. I submitted my medicals with my initial application and my interview was waived. In terms of field office, I don’t have much information only that at one point I was told it was at LA field office and suspect it was transferrred back to NBC with the retrogression. I got the “case remains pending” status on July 1, became current on August 1, and approved 2 weeks later! I am hoping for many more approvals for this community very soon!

Change of immigration category from F2B to F1
I had filed my immigration petition for F2B category. Overtime, the queue for F1 was faster than F2B and since my parents became citizens, I moved my petition to the F1 category. I have already filed for I-485. Now, for visa bulletin, which category would I be eligible in? Also, Can I move myself from F1 to F2B again since it has a closer 'Last Action Date'.
Also, where can I check, what immigration category am I in?

Hey guys,
I wanted to ask and see if anyone may know the answer to this. I’m currently in the waiting period after filing AOS(i765,i130,i485) my FO is NBC with a PD of 7/10/23. now I know I’m in the early stages however I’m the event that I do in fact get an interview, would I be able to attend said interview with an expired passport? I currently do not have any other form of identification and it’s going to be extremely hard to renew passport. just wanted to see if I would be ok. thank you in advance.
