Sister’s Wedding
Hello folks,
My sister is getting married in November. My husband is from Canada and we filled our I-130 last May and are still waiting for a response. I was wondering if anyone knows if he would be allowed into the US for the weekend of the wedding and then return straight to Canada the Monday after. I’ve seen conflicting reports with some saying he’d be fine for such a short time and others saying that it would jeopardize the case being approved. Any guidance will be appreciated.

I hope y’all are doing good today? please can someone share with me a sample of what is contained in a letter from family and friends as part of evidence? Is there a particular format that is acceptable by Immigration? And also, should it be signed and notarized much earlier before the interview date or very close to the date?

I responded to the RFE and they sent notice saying that they received it so I don’t understand what the problem is not even so much as my EAD card

Incorrect info in I-797 Notice of Action
Hello everyone, My I-140 (self-petition) was recently approved. However, I noticed that the notice states, "The petition indicates that the person for whom you are petitioning is in the United States and will apply for Adjustment of Status," whereas in form I-140, I indicated my intention to apply for a visa abroad at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate. Has anyone else experienced a similar situation, and if so, how did you resolve it? Thanks in advance.

Mailed the RFE response back the same day it arrived. almost a week and a half later and we have no confirmation of receipt. 😖😖 Does it usually take so long?
