Refusal slip after the interview, but took passport

A U.S. consular officer has adjudicated and refused your visa application. Please follow any instructions provided by the consular officer.( Status when checking online & got a printed slip requesting more documents) Has anyone had similar situation? Interview was on last Wednesday and the officer was nice and friendly during the interview.. took my passport and told me I only need one more document. I have uploaded & submitted the document on the CEAC portal that day itself and emailed embassy. Will it take much time to get the visa issued? They took my passport, I’m bit worried if I get refusal stamp on my passport.. And I need my passport soon for a travel aswell .. Please help 🙏🏻 #interview #refusal #time
