Submitted an Expedite Request via Phone
Hello community, I submitted an expedite request for my I-765 today via phone. The officer was very nice and asked about my reason for such request. Afterwards, she gave me a referral number but no next steps discussed. She didn’t ask me if I have evidence either. My I-765 is based on I-485 marriage green card. Chicago.
What can I expect next? Should I submit evidence preemptively by uploading evidence in my USCIS portal? Or should I wait for their email should they request further evidence? Thanks!
I think they forgot about me. any feb 2022 approvals? almost 700 days!!!

It was a process, but my I485 for EB1C was finally approved! Started on an L1A from Canada and applied for my GC in April 2023. Best of luck to y’all still waiting on yours!

interview
Do we need to have a valid passport while attending the interview? after our case is updated to ready to be schedule for interview, how long does it take to get the interview notice? Mine is already 2 months since the case is update to this status. my passport is expiring in Feb 1. Even if I renew passport it will atleast take a month to get a new one.

Today marks 1000 days since I filed VAWA! This honestly would drive anyone crazy on top of the abuse we all went through! The System unfortunately is a bigger abuser than our spouses! Today I’m praying for everyone’s mental health! I hope this year will bring a lot of changes to this system! Love and light everyone!!
RFE on a non current case
I filed I-485 on Nov 11, Biometric on Dec 19. My PD is not current (Sep 2022). I received the notification for RFE today. what that could be? maybe something is wrong with Biometrics?
I never received any letter saying that my biometrics are complete or received. I don't know if they send a notification for that though.
