i always thought i765 would process faster than i-131 but i guess I’m wrong. AP approved in ~ 3 months!

Traveling with expired Passport
Is that okay if I leave the US with expired passport and my advance parole and renew my passport in my home country? (will be back to the USA with a valid passport)
I know airlines allow this when someone has a green card, does the same way apply to advance parole holders?
