Should I submit a case inquiry or not?
My current EAD, under the C5 category, will expire at the end of this month. In November, my husband's I-140 (EB1-A) was approved, and we submitted our AOS and EAD applications in the same month. Our case was assigned to the Nebraska center, and according to USCIS processing times, EADs under our category typically take 3.5 months. However, while my husband's EAD was approved in February, mine is still pending. It has been 3.4 months since I filed my case, and there have been no updates since then (just “fees waived”). Should I make a case inquiry about my case being outside the normal processing time? How can I request an expedited approval without impacting my AOS process?

I am not sure how it works. But does it hurt to raise the case inquiry? If not, then go for it.

@Rijo Rijo I submitted my expedite request, but I haven’t received any updates. It has been 6 business days since then…
