Does anyone have any experience with VAWA?
Filed for VAWA in May 2023, had pending i485, i130 and i765, got the combo card in September based on i130 & i485 that was pending approval. had Biometrics from VAWA March 2024 even though I’d already done this for my original spousal visa. spousal (i485) was just denied and the reason is no valid immigrant visa. does anyone know what this could be? this happened literally 2 weeks before the Biometrics for VAWA, could this pending VAWA have something to do with that? I’m lost and very confused, my EAD has been revoked but VAWA is still processing. any information greatly appreciated. it’s impossible to get a response from USCIS in writing and due to the nature of the VAWA they will not speak to me on the phone or allow me to have an appointment, just keep saying write to the Vermont service Center.
I-864 projected annual income confusion, IR-2 visa
Hi Community,My wife and I are in the process of sponsoring my son to immigrate to the USA from Jamaica. We're both self-employed as delivery drivers, and here's our situation regarding the financial requirements for the I-864, Affidavit of Support:Our gross annual income comfortably exceeds the requirement for our household size of five, sitting at $84,828,for house of 5. However, after taking our business deductions into account, particularly the mileage deduction which is substantial for delivery drivers, our Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) on the most recent tax return is around $33,000, placing us below the financial threshold required by the affidavit. When completing the I-864 form:For Part 6, Line 7, should we report our current annual income based on our gross income since it's a better reflection of our financial capability? Is there a way to use the gross income as a projection for current annual income? For Part 6, Lines 24.a - 24.c, we understand it requires the "Total income" from our 1040 tax forms. This is our income before any deductions, correct?Given the discrepancy between our gross income and AGI, how should we navigate this to accurately reflect our financial capability to support my son's immigration? Does this situation disqualify us, or is there a method to explain or supplement our income details to meet the requirements?Additionally, if anyone has tips on providing supplementary documentation or explanations to USCIS to clarify our situation, it would be greatly appreciated. We understand our gross income meets the requirements, but we're concerned about how the deductions impact our AGI and, by extension, our I-864 form.Thank you for any advice or experiences you can share!

Hello everyone, I would like to know if there is any way to update my C-31 category, which was the one that my lawyer applied for and until they approve my 360, I will not be able to obtain my work permit. Does anyone know if there is anything that can be done so that updated to c-09
Finally, at the tunnel! Grateful Heart!🙌❤️
I'm sending positive vibes to everyone, hoping that your approvals come through soon.
