Finally they approved my i-824 after 8 months
Mine was texas sc, it should be 14.5 months but they approved after 8 months.
Guys, trust me try to expedite it through congressman. It works!
First, try to find out who is in charge as the congressman there.
After that, try to contact their web. Look up to the immigration form on their web and fill out the form.
They gonna reach you out through your email.
We tried to contacted the congressman in our 2nd month after we uploaded the form i-824. And finally we got approved in our 8th months.

We filed for asylum in 2018. We were approved on July 1st 2022. We filed I-485 on March 17th, 2023. No response since. We just filed for Mandamus this week. Family of 3. I will keep you posted.

Reject Notice
Does anyone know anything about reject notice from USCIS. I recieved a reject notice and all the document package back from them. I first submitted on March 30 and received that reject notice letter on May 28th. Then I resubmitted again on June 6th by now my check not have been cashed out and I haven’t received any mails from USCIS.
I need advice for you guy. Please help🙏
1st reject notice said :
Your I130, fee and any supporting document is being returned to you for the following reasons:
Your I130 form is being returned to you because the eligibility you filed under requires that you file an I485 too. Please resubmit both forms and the appropriate fee in order to continue processing.
2nd reject notice said:
This is in reference to I485, Application to register permanent residence or adjustment of status, you submitted. Your I485, fee and any supporting documents is being returned to you for the following reasons:
Based on the information your provided, a visa is not immediately available for your priority date. USCIS will accept form I485 according to monthly visa bulletin that DOS publish.
What does this reject notice mean? anyone knows? What should I do any advice please?
why im not getting approved
i see many people who applied so much later than me gets approval faster than me. for example they get approval in 100,200 days but its been 670 days for me still actively reviewing. im so tired and im losing my mentality because of this.
