country of citizenship.. does it matter?
Hi I would like to know if the country of citizenship of the beneficiary has an effect on how long it could take to get approved. For example could my I 130 take longer to get approved because I am from Algeria rather then someone who is from Canada? Thank you
I wish they can Denai me .
had my second interview in dallas since 12 month ago nothing just keep wating and wating even if they want to denai me let me see why and reason instead of wating and wating . I’m trying to get a good job but they only want a permanent resident or citizen. me and my wife are tired of wating and wating my wife even called them always working on it . how can it take them. years just to make decisions after interview so frustrated and I wish they can denai me and tell me reason why they did because I wish I have more money and me and my wife can sue them . Dallas field office is worst and racism’s.
U.S. immigration agency moves to cut 9.5 million-case backlog and processing delays
The Biden administration on Tuesday is announcing three measures to reduce a growing multimillion-case backlog of immigration applications that has crippled the U.S. government's ability to process them in a timely fashion, a senior U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) official told CBS News.
The agency plans to expand the number of applicants who can pay extra fees to have their immigration petitions adjudicated more quickly, propose a rule that would provide relief to immigrants waiting for work permit renewals and set processing time goals, the official said, requesting anonymity to detail the measures before a formal announcement.
USCIS adjudicates requests for work permits, asylum, green cards, U.S. citizenship and other immigration benefits, including the temporary H-1B program for highly skilled foreign workers and the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) policy for undocumented immigrants brought to the country as children

My wifes i-140 timeline
We have waited for more than a year and nothing was happening . Then I contcated our local Congressman via email and also contacted USCIS via Emma Chat and asked for a live agent . Talked to the live agent and requested for an expedite processing based on Financial loss . After a long conversation she agreed to create a request and sent it to Nebraska ASC and have me a ticket number and said someone will contcat within 7-10 business days. within 7 days checked the status that expedite request has been denied and then within 3 days again when I checked the status I found that the case is approved . So I believe that when the ASC person ooens the rile to justify whether it can be expedited or not , sometime day take action on it , even if they deny the exoedite request . It worked for me two times . All the best to everyone .
