Interview Scheduled for EB visa
I’ve been waiting for an update on my I-485 for more than a year now and filed a I-485J almost 200 days ago. Three weeks ago, I reached out to a congresswoman to help me inquire about my case. Unexpectedly, I received an interview notice the other day but no updates on the app or online account. Yesterday, the office of the congresswoman emailed me informing the same.
* Any interview ideas/tips?
* Is it necessary to bring lawyer? what are the pros and cons?

To renew Medical or not?
I have an interview scheduled at the end of this month. My medical was submitted in November 2021. I'm wondering whether I should undergo a new medical exam and submit it during my interview or wait for the officer to request for it. I've read that the medical expiration has been extended from 2 years to 4 years. Any ideas/thoughts? Thanks everyone!

Addministrative Processing after approval
Hello ,My Interview was today and it went good . I got a white “approved card “ telling me to create an account to pickup the passport . But when I get home , I see “administrative processing “ as status . I am confused what this means . Had anybody experienced such issues of getting this status , even when VO says it’s approved ?
I wasn’t given 221g or any other indication that I am missing any document .

Thank you everyone for your prayers. We are finally together after >3 years of applying.
Few interview tips:
1. Take all the documents you submitted on nvc.
2. Check if there is any mistakes in name, date in your documents.
3. Prepare and print to take the messenger/viber screenshot of the conversation of last few years with your spouse and photo album (around 100 photos).
Good luck all of you for Interview. My prayers are to all the people who are living a long distance relationship. I understand the delay is a torture. Sending good vibes and luck.

Refusal slip after the interview, but took passport
A U.S. consular officer has adjudicated and refused your visa application. Please follow any instructions provided by the consular officer.( Status when checking online & got a printed slip requesting more documents)
Has anyone had similar situation? Interview was on last Wednesday and the officer was nice and friendly during the interview.. took my passport and told me I only need one more document.
I have uploaded & submitted the document on the CEAC portal that day itself and emailed embassy. Will it take much time to get the visa issued?
They took my passport, I’m bit worried if I get refusal stamp on my passport.. And I need my passport soon for a travel aswell ..
