The IL haven’t gone out this month :( unfortunately the Montreal embassy has slowed down drastically with IR category. I was DQ on March 20 and still waiting 😩

oh wow. such a long wait. I got DQ on July 17th. I feel like we will expect interview in 2025 😞

@Kristen B oh man…I’m so sorry honey … that’s absolutely and totally devastating to be that close and to have to wait that long …like what the actually ****… :( Please stay positive and keep busy as much as you can. often times, when we are not so intensely obsessing, it happens. I know how hard it is as for me , the first part of the process was longer than average and it was so hard to watch other people get approved I-130 while we were likely the easiest case they ever had and should have been smooth sailing… Sending you tons of positive energy and happy vibes!! Hang in there my friend 💕

@K B Oh my gosh I know eh 😭 Certainly didn’t see this coming! We also had a hiccup with our I-130 which was fixed almost immediately after we filed but USCIS missed it and it ended up taking us another 3 months to fix it. I swear we’ve hit every single road block! my husband and I got matching tattoos over the weekend, the Chinese symbol for patience lol! It hasn’t kicked in yet 😂 How are you doing? All settled in now?!

@Kristen B 😂❤️lol…love the tattoo idea… Sounds like you two are finding great ways to cope with stupid wait … just proves this is all worth it and one day you will look at those tattoos and giggle 🤭.. Yes, all settled here and loving it. Got my GC fairly quickly (4 weeks or so), got my drivers license done, ssn card arrived within two weeks so really no more hiccups with anything. Still feel like I’m here visiting at times but little less every day. We did 9 yrs of long distance so coming and going was such a norm for us. Miss my peeps back in NB and Tim’s ofc, but aside of that, not much else ….

@K B I’m so glad to hear you are settling in well ❤️ I hear you though my hubby and I are on 8.5 years of long distance so it’s going to feel so weird when all of this is finally over!

I know this is getting miserable. I am oraying and hoping they catch up in couple months. if they continue like this maybe I will get interview in 2025
