Doubt (help appreciated)
I moved to the US in July 2021 with a tourist visa. My wife and & I committed on December 2019 after 5 years of relationship but we couldn't get married due to covid (she is a US citizen who always lived in Mexico, I am a Mexican doctor)
When we arrived to US we finally got Married in July 30th
We filled the petition here in the US on September 2021 (we arrived on July 20th) I am currently reading something about the 90 day period, does that means I´m gonna have trouble because we filled early or something like that??? any information will be highly appreciated #marriage #petition #application #i130 #i485 #ead #i765
online case status not updated after sending RFE
I sent back the RFE on Oct 4 and based on the tracking number is was delivered on Oct 5th.
I sent it to "2200 Potomac center dr, stop 2425 VA" as requested, but it says it was delivered to "CAPITOL HEIGHTS, MD".
Also, the case is still not updated, and the status is "Request for initial evidence sent" (50 days).
Has anyone had a similar situation?
I tried contacting a live agent from the call center and no word combination works. #ead #i765 #rfe

My fellow immigrants, I uploaded a version of this post last week but this one is my complete timeline from filing to reception.
April 2, 2021: USCIS received my case
September 21, 2021: case being actively reviewed by USCIS
November 9, 2021: EAD approved. Card being produced.
November 12, 2021: card was produced
November 12, 2021: I-797 approval received
November 15, 2021: card was picked up by USPS
November 17, 2021: EAD (form I-766) received/delivered.

Category: C8, renewal.
It cost peace of mind, frustration, depression, anxiety, but this page is now turned and my mind can get its peace back. 😂
No biometrics was taken. So, don't stress if you haven't received biometrics appointment. USCIS don't always send them. Plus, in some cases, they reuse old/previous ones.
Keep the faith. The waiting period is mental torture, but this too shall pass.

EAD tracking Vermont
hi!
I have been tracking for one week the i765 with “case received” status for Vermont Center to try to understand what are they working on.
I have tracked from EAC2190036000(Dec cases) to EAC2190066000(May cases) in the case Tracker app and those are my conclusions.
In this week there are 96 less cases in “case received” status, 11 of them before March, 27 are March cases, 29 are April cases and 29 are May cases.
So it is obvious that they are not following any order…but at least now I know that they are working in EADS in Vermont…
There are still around 2,200 i765 in “ case received” status in that range I studied.

Original Green Card extension needed while i-751 on progress
On December, 2020 after i filed i-751 i received my 18 month extension, with that extension i travelled overseas for about 2 months when i came back, in the airport i was informed by border officer that my extension is actually a copy, Not original. They told me to get a original one if i travel again. Now For New Year we wanna travel again, but i am thinking how to renew it. I asked my lawyer if he ever received the original one, he said no. I if anyone has the same experience or knows what to do, please share your opinion.

GC Interview Timeline
My biometrics was scheduled on 5th of October, and the case status was updated on the same day to show that fingerprints were taken. How long until the portal is updated to show ‘Interview is scheduled’? My service Center is Lee Summit (National Benefits Center). Just wanted a timeline so I could schedule my I693 Medical exam. H4 Extension + H4 EAD Extension Expedite Request Denied (NSC)
So, I had expedited my H4 EAD renewal application owing to medical reasons on July 29th. The application was denied today (Aug 2nd) without even asking for additional details/proof by Nebraska Service Centre. Not sure of the reason yet.
Plan to raise an expedite request again. Any pointers would be appreciated.
Are biometrics still needed for H4 Extension?? Heard the need for biometrics has been revoked. ->
