E-request before 30days
I got approved on 1/20 and still haven’t had any update, it’s been 20days and I’m thinking of making an EFiling, has anyone done this before 30days, cus I honestly don’t want to wait 30days before realizing they’ve just left my case under some mountain of files…. Has anyone done the efiling before 30days? #i485 #approved #marriage #fiance #greencard

Hello All,
Happy to share that my case was approved 4 days ago and Card has been produced. My PD date was 02/03/2022. Does anyone have a timeline as to when I should receive my GC?
I have a travel planned at the end of Feb and would like to have it by then, so that I can travel without any issues.

USCIS response to inquiry request.
Your case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of other action shortly.
I submitted a request to understand the status of my AOS last week and just received this response from USCIS. what does this mean? should I really be expecting to receive a decision anytime soon? or is it like when case is being actively reviewed that can take months or years before resolution?

USCIS Letters no received yet
I sent my green card package to USCIS on December 22nd. 2 weeks later, I Got scheduled for biometrics. A week ago, I received my 4 receipt letters. But since then I haven’t received anything else. I am missing the letters with the codes to make the account and the appointment letter… I'm afraid I will miss my appointment and the office is 2 hours away from where I live… Does someone know if I can call, and they can give me the appointment date 😢 I'm desperate.

Case Remains Pending
Does anyone has experience on how long it takes for case status to update after "case remains pending"? My priority date is current since Jan 1,2024 and I've been with the current status since July 2023 (6 months).
Should I expect any news soon?

It took them just 7 days to mail my Green card
I was approved my Asylum Green card recently, a week ago. They have mailed the card to my address yesterday and it will arrive on Jan 2, 2024, according to the usps tracking information.
That is the best gift for New Year!

Travel After Green Card Approved But Card Not Arrived
Hi everyone, my GC application was approved on Saturday (after over 2 years of waiting), which was very good news. The timing of it was interesting, and I was hoping for any inputs on the situation. I have travels planned outside of the country leaving the US in just over 1 week. The issue with my approval last weekend is that I am not sure the card will arrive on time for my travels. I understand I could have someone mail the card, but seems risky from a timing standpoint because I have to be back before the new years for work. My understanding is that as soon as my GC application is approved, my other documents (EAD/AP) which ate still valid can no longer be used. Anyone with experience on this?
