Hi everyone,
Do you know if our application is automatically transferred to the California center for processing? I guess they’re the only one doing K1/K2 right now? I originally sent it to the Texas center but I’m finding out that Texas may only be processing the K3/K4. Could this be the reason for the delay? Is anyone else going through this? If anyone has any insight, please let me know! Thank you

I-130 expedite request
After 4 expedite request, I got this response from California service center after the recent request;
“According to our records, your Form I-130 petition has been placed on a temporary processing hold while requisite security checks remain ongoing. Such measures are mandatory for all petitions, irrespective of the benefit sought. Regrettably, delays are sometimes unavoidable due to the high volume of petitions received and the number of checks conducted. As such, we are unable to consider a request for expedited processing while security checks are in process.”
Please, does anyone know what this means?

i130 expedite
my case has been pending since March and I recently knew that it was in Nebraska, have already gone outside of normal processing time. but I cannot file inquiry and Emma told me there's a glitch on the uscis website so i130 inquiry is set to be available based on California processing time. my question is does getting this to the congressman would help? should I just request expedite because of outside processing time? Emma also told me inquiry won't help with speed up processing, is that true?

i130 case actively reviewed
I filed i130 for my spouse online myself on May 2021. I am from Boston but why my service center is California. I got ioe number on my received number. It says your case is being actively reviewed since Jun 2021. When am check time processing for california, it says 26 to 32 months. Do we need to wait for so long?
RFE
Good morning guys, on September 8, 2021 they sent me a request for evidence on 09-15-21 I sent all the documentation tests all the possible evidence as to when I would be receiving a response, I am the husband of an I-130 citizen, my case is E -filling, therefore, I do not know exactly what office I may be in, although the letter they sent me from the RFE was sent from California, I believe that my case is there, although my lawyer had told me earlier that my case was started in Nebraska.

4 expedite request
The last expedite request was 3 weeks ago and I got this response from California service center;

I want to know what the community thinks as I’m worried, confused, and contemplating on what next to do.

Approved!!! I-130 for spouse
Good morning all,
I wanted to share a good news that our I-130 application was just approved this morning. This community has been very helpful so I wanted to share my timeline and experience in case it helps anyone. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
Priority Date:: 3rd March 2021. Legal permanent resident filing for spouse overseas.
Received receipt from California service center but USCIS online portal said the case is being processed at Nebraska service center.
1 month later in April, I received a letter from USCIS with information on how to setup online account, that letter came from Texas service center.
Since then no movement until October 1st, I got a notification that the case is being actively reviewed. On Nov 12th, I received an RFE asking for my passport size photos not my spouses who is the beneficiary. But the lawyer recommended we send photos of both, the lawyer did the overnight shipping on Monday, it was received by USCIC on Tuesday. My account was updated on Wednesday with "response received".
This morning I woke up to a notification that my case is being actively reviewing (this was the 2nd actively reviewing and I have seen people in this group receiving approval letter after 2nd actively reviewing). So right away I opened my account and under documents tab I saw the approval notices.
Please let me know if there are any questions.
Thanks,
