F2A Vermont Filers - Ombudsman Help
For F2A Vermont petitioners, please go to the following link and let’s do a group message to the ombudsman regarding the slowdown of F2A cases in Vermont: https://www.dhs.gov/topic/cis-ombudsman/forms/7001#no-back Steps: Fill in 1A and 1B if it applies to you. For 1A, in the box, put “USCIS has not given any response other than it is pending every time I contact them.” For 2, select “Systematic issue(s) that should be given higher level review” and in the box put the essay that’s at the bottom starting with Hello. Just make sure to put your name at the end in the brackets. For 3, enter your form type, form category, receipt date and receipt number. For 4, select Family. For 5, select Individual and put in your information( first name, last name). For 6, enter your address, your email and phone number. For 7, enter your Date of birth, Country of birth, Country of citizenship and A number. For 8, you can submit any docs if you have( I didn’t submit any). For 9, type your full name. For 10, choose the first one with “The individual” For 11, it doesn’t apply for us, leave it. For 12, select one. Essay: Hello. I am writing to you as we are desperate for our cases not moving forward in the Vermont Service Center. I have applied(I-130) for my spouse in the F2A category. My main reason for writing this to you is the Vermont Service Center is not working on F2A cases. Currently, they are still working on November/December 2019 cases whereas I have seen the California Service Center process F2A cases with PD of July/August 2021. This is unfair and unjust. USCIS’s mission statement is: “USCIS upholds America’s promise as a nation of welcome and possibility with fairness, integrity, and respect for all we serve.” They are not following their mission statement as one center works so much faster than another. They mention fairness in their mission statement but rather it is unfair and unjust given the disparity between the Service Centers in regards to I-130 F2A processing times (Example being California vs Vermont). Please help us in any way possible so that USCIS delivers in their promise of fairness to transfer some F2A cases from Vermont to other centers to reduce their burden or any other way you believe will bring fairness to this system. Thank you, (Your full name)
