Naturalization through military service

hi guys I just join Air Force reserve with my gc I signed the contract but not yet go to basic training my recruiter told me it probably will take a year to go to but and I am going to drill weekend for training once a month. Is that possible to apply for citizenship before basic training? thanks #citizenship #military #service #air force

finally approved

I wanted to share my VAWA journey for anyone in a similar situation, as it’s been a challenging but hopeful path. I filed my VAWA petition (I-360) with all the evidence in April 2023 after experiencing abuse in my marriage to a U.S. citizen. In July 2023, I submitted my I-765 and I-485 applications, including a medical exam. Given my health needs, I filed an expedite request for my I-360 with all the evidence with the Vermont Service Center. I also called USCIS and spoke with a Tier 2 officer. Within 10 days, my expedite request was approved, and my I-360 itself was approved just three days later. Soon after, I received my EAD (C31). Following that, I submitted an expedite request for my I-485, also to the Vermont Service Center, along with all the necessary evidence. I again called USCIS and requested a callback from a Tier 2 officer, and within 10 days, I received an RFE. I responded to the RFE, and just recently, I got an update that my I-485 status now says “new card is being produced,” even though there wasn’t a specific update on the expedite request. the only thing I want emphasize is always provide evidence with your forms you file or anything that uscis usually have to send rfe always send it when you file hope this helps.
