Hello community, please can anyone who has same timeline as me make a comment to encourage me. I see a lot of October and November approval which is making me more anxious as the day goes by. Also, my EAD will expire in May 2025. My lawyer adviced I send my medicals with the EAD renewal which she sent to NBC in December which I haven’t gotten receipt yet. I see many people waited for their vawa to be approved before sending medical but, my lawyer adviced otherwise. Is sending the medical a good or bad move?

Received interview notice today in the mail and it’s scheduled for early in the morning. How likely is the oath going to happen on the same day and how fast do y’all receive the US passport afterwards? Have a trip booked internationally 2 months after the interview. Location is San Francisco.

hi friends,, I applied for my geeen card in August 2022, I haven't been approved yet, and unfortunately I'm divorced. After being mistreated, I've been advised to do a Vawa, and at the same time as sending in my file to ask for the renewal of my EAD, which expires in June. Experiences? Any advice? I haven't said I'm divorced yet my l130 and l485 are still in pending.

1-130 finally approved! October 19th 2023 at Potomac centre. Now on to the next steps! hope everyone else get their approval soon.

hello everyone, finally some movement. Unfortunately probably there will be an interview 🤷‍♂️ I sent my medical on December, and it was received by USCIS a few days later. Today my status changed to “Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview”. So probably they won’t approve me without talking to me lol

What to Bring during Biometrics?

Do I only need to bring my PASSPORT, Marriage Certificate and Biometrics Appointment Notice for my Biometrics do I need anything else? Should I bring a Photocopy of each or just the original? Also can my husband come with me? Thanks!
