Update!!!
This morning my husband got a few emails that an action was taken on his case, so we logged onto his account and there was nothing new. Then this afternoon, my husband checked his account again and there it was!!!! His combo EAD/Travel auth was approved!!! It still doesn't show case approved yet but the notice was under the i765!! The wait for that was just over a year, and after we had contacted two congressman's offices and sent in an expedite request and then a service request for out of normal processing time.

No longer a Lawfully app addict
After one year of painfully checking this app 20 - 50 times a day I have finally accepted that when my time comes it will come. There is no amount of checking that will speed the process up. It’s been 13 mentally challenging months but I have finally made peace with the fact that when my time comes it will come. Now I only check in on this app 3 or 4 times per week. I’ve started back living life and being present where I am in life and on this journey. Not trying to force the outcome. taking it one day at a time. for all of you that are waiting I wish you all the best. Please don’t stress yourselves or your partners out while you wait. find joy and distraction in things you once loved. reconnect with family abroad. prayer and hold your faith. Our time will come. 🧡

Applied for EB1-A in July as a PhD student, although I will graduate in 2023. Things moved pretty fast for me. I guess God was working overtime on my case. Good luck to everyone waiting.

Travel outside US (PD 6/2021)(case remaining pending)
Hey guys, I want to go visit my family in Australia. I used to be an F1 student but now have been working for my sponsor over a year. I have my travel documents approved. Is it wise to travel outside the US now?? since I heard rumors that people got rejected when they try to reentry to the US.

It seems that updates on the Lawfully App are coming a bit late this time around
A N400 case with USCIS has been on Lawfully App since September 3rd, 2023 the date it was filed. It wasn't until September 15th, 2023 that the petitioner knew that it had been updated and that fingerprints had been taken from the previous application that was on file at USCIS in a letter. Nothing on Lawfully's hand has ever been updated in any way.
