I submitted an expedite request based on extreme financial loss.
I think I was able to expedite my work permit and AP document because shortly after I got a decision. I still haven’t heard back on the I-212 🥹#212
UPDATE: they just gave me the generic response that it was within normal processing times 😒😑

Reconsideration
hey vawa family,
has anyone else case been approved and then reopen for reconsideration?
I just don’t understand how they approve and then reopen. I was so happy when it was approved and then 4 days later it was reopen. it’s been over a year now since the vawa case has been reopened and my work permit from my marriage filing will expire next month, I sent a vawa based EAD application in early January and I still haven’t even received a notice from USCIS. Am I still going to be able to work after my EAD expires? I am actually worried because I am here alone and I need to work to pay my bills. Most days I feel like giving up but I won’t just yet, maybe they will send the EAD without a notice?
