case denied after not receiving second interview notice that was not uploaded or mailed to us so we had no idea.

we did our interview August 11th, had no update whatsoever until today, I check the account that I check everyday sometimes 3 times per day, that our case was denied. at first it states no one showed up the quickly went to denial.. I am so frustrated and hurt to point where I criminal had a nose bleed cause how??.. I called uscis and they it was went out when it wasn’t.. it was not in our documents tab on the account either…. what should I do???…. help please.

Please I need your input

My case is not going as expected. I schooled here in the US. I completed my bachelors in nursing in 2021 then went for opt after which my employer filed for me and my 3 dependents. After labor certification, then my attorney started filing. Along the line, the attorney made a mistake by not complying with the required number of days before submitting the EAD/485 because she had filed concurrently, then she received a letter saying the application was denied in 2023. She the fixed the mistake and resubmitted for the EAD, she did premium processing and within two weeks, my EAD and those of my dependents were out and we went back to work. Prior to this time, I had to go back to school because I came in as an international student so I have to be in status in order to change status. When my EAD came out, the attorney said the next thing we are waiting for is my green card. She also advised that I can stop taking classes because I didn’t really need it anymore as I have a pending case and legal in the country. We would chat with Emma and follow up with the attorney and was informed that my case is processing normally, not until August 29th 2025 when I checked on lawfully and saw that my case was denied. When we received the denial notice, they stated the reason for denial was because when the initial EAD was denied, the 485 that was filed concurrently was also denied. We have been devastated since then. We filed 290B motion to appeal and reopen. I was advised to return to school and get a new I-20 and of course my sevis has be en terminated because I stopped taking classes since 2023. We just filed form 539 to reinstate me. I know my case is getting complicated but any useful advice would go a long way. I don’t know what the outcome will be… please help a sister.

I730 follow to join asylee banned after travel ban

my husband filed an i730 follow to join asylee case for me to join him. I went to the interview August 13 and my case was denied due to 212(f) president travel ban proclamation. Does anyone know of any cases that were approved after the travel ban? also if anyone has a FTJ-asylee case from travel ban country can we connect?

Removal Procedings after leaving USA before my Case was denied can

Hi everyone, I’m looking for advice or if anyone has faced a similar situation. I left the U.S. in May 2024, and I had a pending I-485 application at that time. Just recently, I received a Notice to Appear (NTA) and was placed in removal proceedings, even though I’ve not been in the U.S. since last year. My I-485 was denied on April 4, 2025, which was almost a year after I had already departed the country. I believe USCIS or ICE might not have updated my departure status and assumed I was still present. Has anyone been in a similar situation? • Can removal proceedings be issued if you’re no longer in the U.S.? • What’s the best way to handle this? • Is it possible to file a Motion to Terminate due to lack of jurisdiction? Any guidance or shared experience would be really helpful. I’m planning to contact an immigration attorney, but would love to hear from this community as well. Thanks in advance!

i130,i360 i need advice

Hi everyone, I really need some help and advice. I married a U.S. citizen in 2021 and filed both the I-130 and I-485 applications. Two months ago, I was scheduled for an interview, but unfortunately, my case was denied. On the same day, ICE detained me, and I was held for 45 days. I’ve now been released on bond, but I am currently in removal proceedings, and my master hearing is scheduled online this July. I am now planning to file an I-360 VAWA petition, as I was in a genuine marriage but experienced emotional and psychological abuse. I’ve learned that I may be eligible to self-petition under VAWA without my spouse’s support, and this could also help in fighting my removal case. I’m looking for a good immigration lawyer in Baltimore, Maryland, with experience in: • Denied marriage-based green card cases, • VAWA (I-360) self-petitions, • Removal defense in immigration court. If anyone has recommendations for a reliable attorney in the Baltimore area or has gone through something similar, I would really appreciate any advice or referrals.
