Traveled with Advance Parole

First, I just want to testify to the glory of God and also to encourage someone by trusting in God only. I traveled down to my home country Nigeria using my Advance parole based on Vawa for six weeks and while in Nigeria, my brother received a letter from USCIS about the appeal my formal attorney filed since 2022 before I filed Vawa. Haven divorced last year December cos of abuse but I already file my Vawa case in September 2024 respectively. Before I left the US, my formal attorney withdrawn the appeal from the court but didn’t get anything from USCIS until I left. Fast forward, my brother got the letter from the USCIS that my appeal was dismissed while am still outside the country. I was overwhelmed with fear, anxiety and full of uncertainties due to this Trump administration but my brother who received the letter is a man of God he keep telling not to be scared and assuring me that nothing would happen to me while coming back to the US. He prayed about it, his friend prayed for me and said my coming back would even be seamless than when I was leaving, I keep praying about it too but deep inside me, the fear was still there. Finally, I left Nigeria yesterday and got to JFK around 7pm, I gave the officer my passport and my AP document and he took me to the secondary room for documentation and lo and behold to the glory of God, no question was asked! The officer at the inspection room did his job, stamp my passport and return it back to me which was the confirmation of what my brother’s friend said “that is going to be seamless than when I left the US” meanwhile my brother was on his phone with his wife praying until I come out and enter his car. Then he said, he told me that nothing can stop me. This is to thank God and also to encourage someone that God answers prayers and also have good people around you. We pray, he fight and he who fight takes all the glory. Thank you Jesus
