Interview and RFE
I went to my interview on May 18th and on the next day I received an RFE. I sent the documents they asked, but still no update if they even received my Request for Evidence back.
My status still shows "Interview Was Scheduled".
They said if I didn't respond by August 10th they would just deny my case. So I'm very stressed because I don't have an update if they received it or not. (USPS says delivered - it's a PO box) but they didn't confirm it.
Is there any # number that I can call to get some information or ask them about that?
Thanks :(

Interview Completed - Status still shows "Interview Scheduled"
I'd applied for my Family Based Greencard through my wife on October 7th, 2021 (NBC - Lee's Summit, MO). We had our interview together on June 7th 2022 and the interviewer had mentioned that he would approve it given that we have a child together.
My status on the USCIS website still shows "Interview was Scheduled" when we've already completed it
Questions:
1. How long does it take after the Interview for status to change and what is the next status?
2. I've received my EAD card on May 5, 2022 but not my travel document, I called USCIS and it's still processing. Any idea how long it takes after EAD?
Timeline (I-485):
- PD: October 7, 2021
- Biometrics: November 6, 2021
- Interview was Scheduled: May 4, 2022
Timeline (I-131):
- Receipt was sent: October 7, 2021

eb3-3 unskilled Interview questions?
my case was just changed to case is ready to be scheduled for an interview.
Got a few quick questions.
1. What kind of questions do they ask at the interview?
2. A lot of people’s interviews are being waived, if mine is called in for an interview, does that mean there is something wrong?
3. Can they waive interview from this point forward or is an interview set in stone?
thank for all the help!

NVC Interview Times in Peru
Hello, I am reaching out here because I am desperate for answers! My older brother unmarried got petitioned by my US Citizen Father back in 2014, his case is Approved and now awaiting interview in Peru, his case became DQ August 2021. We have not got any new as to when the NVC will schedule his interview we are in need of answers! My brother was like a second dad to me and I will be getting married September 2022 and I would be devastated if he can’t be there. We were very hopeful that by now he could have got his interview but sadly nothing yet, now it’s to late to postpone my wedding. If any of you have any tips on how to speed up the process or now what is the time frame for interview in Peru for F11 Visa, I would greatly appreciate it. Praying for good news soon! #Nvc #interview #Peru #F11 #immigrantvisa #help #peruembassy #limaperu #nvcperu
Verbal approval at interview
Okay so I had my interview Thursday, 5/5/22. All went well and at the end the office told us he was going to approve the application.
He just needed to have the contractors scan in my additional documents / medical exam and said it should be that same day, if not Friday.
It’s been almost two weeks and I haven’t heard anything.
Should I be concerned? I’ve looked at other cases on case tracker and see no 485’s around mine have been approved either. #dallas #interview #dallasfo

Employment based interview experience
Filing: EB1-C
Scheduled for interview at 1:15 PM (Mar 2022) at Jacksonville, FL.
- I(primary applicant) went with wife and 2 kids and are scheduled for the same time
- Entered at 12:55 pm and finished the security check
- Checked in showing the interview notice at front desk
- They gave us the token number and indicated we may be called in a group of 2 and 2 like 1 parent and one kid
- We were asked to wait at the waiting area
- Officer called by my name at 1:20 pm
- He got us to his office room, introduced himself and indicated “I will be making the final decision on your case”
- He took an oath from all of us that we will tell only the truth
Here are the Questions
- Who is the primary applicant?
- Handover me all the documents that you brought with you
- I handed over Employment verification, salary confirmation and promotion letters
- Give me all your ID documents like passport, state Id, driving license, EAD, AP, etc.
- Confirm your address (while he was looking into one of the ID documents)
- After verifying the ids with the application and file for every applicant, he returned all the IDs back to us.
Let's start with the Kids
- Name, birth date and birth place?
- Any changes to be made since the time you applied for AOS like address, SSN, etc.?
- After verifying the application, he asked one of the parent to sign for them
The officer mentioned, kids are done and they can even go out and wait as the parents interview might be boring for them
To both of US: He opened my wife' and my file, side by side
- Do you have any nicknames?
- Name, birth date, birth place, address?
- Since when are you staying in that address?
- Confirm your SSN
- What is your current status? Previous status?
- Were you out of status at any point in time?
- Have you worked without a valid visa or work permit?
- Parents' name and birth place?
- Previous marriage and kids with others?
To Wife: Any change in employment?
- She told all about the change in employment as she started to work after getting the EAD based on AOS
- What is the company?
- Where is it?
- Since when are you working there?
- What is your title/role? Pay?
To Me:
- What is the company you are employed with? Title? Role? Current Pay?
- When did you join the USA? What was your Pay then?
- Where were you working before? How long?
- What was your role before joining the US company?
To Both of us:
- Went through the 8 page questionnaire and mentioned that I'm going to ask once and you both have to respond
- Instead of going through each of the questions, he summarized and asked one question per sub-section.
- If I remember correctly, they are about
- Any group or organizations we are associated with?
- Worked or trained in the military or forces or using weapons?
- Involved in Prostituition, trafficking, etc?
- Any criminal activities or harming anyone, etc?
- Have you committed any crime even if it is not cited, filed, etc?
- Have you ever voted or registered to vote?
- Have you ever claimed to be a US citizen to avail benefits?
We are done here and you people can come and sign. Do you have any questions for me?
Then I asked the officer, when I can expect the next update.
The officer mentioned probably today and will let you know if we need any more documentation.
Then he escorted us back to the waiting area.

PD 3/26/2021 Brooklyn NY
I just received updates on my i130 and it showed that the case was approved. I didn’t submit medical with the package and got a 693 RFE last year.
For people who are in Brooklyn and recently got interview waived. Did your i130 show updates before i485?
thank you!
