I got I-140 approved in EB2-NIW with PD Nov 2023. I am from ROW country and my PD is not current. My current visa is expiring soon. By the time my EAD expires the PD is not likely to be current for filing either. So I am planning to go for IVP. Has anyone in this group gone for IVP instead of adjustment of status? If so, what are the risks involved as opposed to doing adjustment of status? Changing Biometrics Schedule

Hi all, I received my 485 notice that my fingerprint fee was received on Oct 26. Assuming my fingerprint could happen anytime soon, unfortunately I have a flight to travel for a 1-week vacation in about 10 days. Did anyone have a similar issue when you wanted to take the fingerprint at an earlier date than noticed such as walk-in? I don’t want to delay the biometrics appointment, but at the same time, a quick round trip flight just for this 10-min fingerprint is too time consuming and expensive! My VAWA case has just been approved

It's just been approved without interview last night and now it says I can receive my green card soon. This journey took over 2 years. I am so happy with it. People told me it wouldn't work out because I am a man, not a woman. So I applied it anyway, but on the other hand, I was always worried a bit. I can’t believe this! I’ve seen many I-130 counselar process cases get approved before adjust status cases. I don’t know how USCIS works, but in this situation I think it needs to be on the opposite.

Medical Exam with AOS I-485

We filed I-485 and included everything we can think of but we’re still unsure on the medical exam. AOS is from k1. Medical exam was done July 2023 for the k1 process and I understand it’s valid 1 year but we weren’t given anything after the medical exam other than a disc and blank vaccine paper with a dr signature at the bottom. What should have been included with the I-485 to show proof the medical exam was done or would USCIS already have record of it? #AOS #k1 #i-485

Uscis received my medical report on June 15 2023 .. since then I didn't have any update on my case is that normal? knowing that my i-485 was received on November 16th 2022.

why are we getting an I-130 RFE over a year after submitting application and months after getting the EAD-travel combo card?

Hi all, IR1 GC Concurrent Filing Submitted Aug 2022; I485 RFE for medical received and responded Feb 2023. EAD and travel card received May 2023. Now just yesterday received RFE for I-130. Me and my USC spouse are very surprised and concerned. My progress tracker now suddenly says 9 months ETA processing time when it was showing ‘your case is taking longer than usual’ even 2 days ago!!! Does anyone have a similar experience?
