One of my friend got asylum decision through lawyer. However, the status has not changed on the USCIS website for 3 weeks. Still shows "Decision is pending". planning to travel had marriage interview today and didn’t got decision on the spot

hey everyone I had my i130 and i485 interview today and IO haven’t approved yet he said I have to review your j1 visa (visa category I arrived) I asked him how long it going to take he said it can be today it can be one week but I also have to travel overseas I’m confused what to do, I do have i131 valid can I travel while my decision is pending ? any idea how long it gonna take to get the decision? interview was good officer looked satisfied
