i485 approved

Here to encourage anyone going through this process. Finally got approved after a failed marriage, i485 and i130 denial, tons of abuse and lots of money lost in the process. After i485 denial, Applied for vawa and i485 Sept 2021. Received only one Prima Facie the entire time. Everything looked obscured and blurry with no sign of light at the end of the tunnel. Lawyer was MIA for about two years after I got my first EAD. No response to calls, text or emails. Sometimes the depression from the uncertainty of how the case will turn out can be as bad or worse than the marriage abuse itself. Many times I felt like leaving and starting all over somewhere else. Complications everywhere. For some reasons, i485 got moved to a whole different state after i360 approval. I was scared, confused with everything going on and people getting taken during interviews. Was actually slightly prepared for the worst. But God did it. Got called for interview and everything was just like a dream. My lawyer only showed up five minutes before I got called in for the interview, no time to go over the case. I went to the interview with 3 big binders of documents as my case was extremely complicated and I needed anything and everything I can use to support my story. Officer looked at my big files and shook his head. officer was looking stoic, didn’t even look me in the face, his demeanor gave me chills, I gave the interview date as my date of birth smh. At the end of the day, he asked only i485 questions. Case was approved on the spot. Officer didn’t even smile or look me in the face when he told me case was approved. Still feeling like a dream. I only wish my mom is alive to witness this, she passed during the whole journey. I know this whole thing is complex and no one can say exactly what gives you good chances of approval, but nothing is too big for God. An advise I can give is to be as law abiding as you can, and keep your head down. This whole journey has a way of drawing you closer to God or whatever you believe in. Thank you to everyone on this platform, it’s been really helpful. I pray everyone waiting have a good story to tell and it’ll all be worth it.
