Hello all. i got my i485 update and they send me a RFE on 28th Jan BUT till today i didnt even recive there mail at my lawyer office and even at my place as well / is some one face smiliar situation plz let me know ,my vawa was approved on nov 2024 .thank u #vawa

VAWA Approved but no Paper Notice

My VAWA got approved few 3 months ago, updated online, received email and got text message of approval but I am yet to receive the paper notice. Any other person experienced this? #VAWA #I360

My VAWA case has just been approved

It's just been approved without interview last night and now it says I can receive my green card soon. This journey took over 2 years. I am so happy with it. People told me it wouldn't work out because I am a man, not a woman. So I applied it anyway, but on the other hand, I was always worried a bit. I really appreciate my attorney and friends who wrote the statements for me. Hope all you can also get your green card. #vawa #I-485

VAWA based GREEN CARD APPROVED, NO INTERVIEW

Here's a quick summary of my journey. Jan 2020 - reached out to an attorney. He suggested applying for VAWA. For the next 3 years, I'd get a lot of EAD every year, sometimes with gaps which resulted in the employer laying me off due to no work authorization. I wasn't able to travel either until I finally received my travel permit I-131 in April 2022 which was valid for one year until April 2023. Mar 2023 - VAWA petition approved. Aug 2023 - I-485 RFE - medical exam Nov 2023 - Today I received an email from my lawyer with a photocopy of my green card. I checked MyUSCIS and it confirms that my I-485 was approved last week. This was my journey of about 4 years from the beginning of applying for VAWA until my green card was approved. There's another 5 years before that where I had to deal with USCIS, spouse, divorce, etc. that part was all done without a lawyer and I wish I had picked one sooner. After 9 years my struggle finally ends and I am a free person who can travel and see the world. It seems like my green card was approved without needing to do an interview. Does pending U visa petition impact the review and approval of the pending I-485 with approved VAWA?

Hello friends, Does anyone know or heard /read anywhere that if a person has an approved VAWA, a pending i-485 and a pending U visa petition, then their pending i-485 does not get approved up until the decision is made on the pending U visa? I have an old U visa case pending since 2016. My vawa was approved in November of 2022 and I have filed an I-485 along with it and it is still pending without an update. The only thing I received is the deficiency notice in december of 2023 from the NBC saying NOT to mail any docs at this time, and that they will send another notice when it is needed. I-360 VAWA finally approved after 9 years journey, need advice

My journey started in 2014. Fast forward to early 2020 when I decided to apply for VAWA because things didn't work out as it should. I had my EAD every year renewed while I was waiting. However, due to COVID the extension renewal didn't come in time last year so I got laid off and unemployeed since Aug 2022. Reached out to congresswomen and filing for expedite didn't help either. __________________________________ Today my I-360 after 3 years, finally got approved! With that, the approval letter says that my EAD will be sent to me seperately. I am not celebrating yet because I don't have the green card in my hands yet. The whole point of this post is to ask others who are in similar position: What's next? How long is the waiting time for the actual interview? And how difficult is the interview process? #vawa #ead #i360 #greencard

Hello guys , finally i got my work permit and travel permit. i have small questions that i got approved my travel permit so is there any particular any documents they will send me for travel or they just send me EAD only. I heard that they only send EAD and you can travel anywhere on EAD ? is it true? and also can i travel once i will got my work permit or shold i have to wait for few months? #vawa case Help will be appreciated 🙏🏻

#vawa hello everybody have a question for someone who has had the same experience; I received my work permit and travel permit in almost 4 months, but I haven't received primafacie, sometimes it doesn't arrive? or does it come later? I should investigate why it hasn't arrived? It's not that I want to ask for help, I just want to receive everything that would come to another person doing vawa and want to know if it's safe to travel without received it
