I-360 VAWA finally approved after 9 years journey, need advice
My journey started in 2014. Fast forward to early 2020 when I decided to apply for VAWA because things didn't work out as it should.
I had my EAD every year renewed while I was waiting. However, due to COVID the extension renewal didn't come in time last year so I got laid off and unemployeed since Aug 2022. Reached out to congresswomen and filing for expedite didn't help either.

Today my I-360 after 3 years, finally got approved! With that, the approval letter says that my EAD will be sent to me seperately.
I am not celebrating yet because I don't have the green card in my hands yet.
The whole point of this post is to ask others who are in similar position: What's next? How long is the waiting time for the actual interview? And how difficult is the interview process?

hi @Davis C , interview for I-485 based on vawa is simple and you don’t need to be afraid. They will ask you only about I-485 questions listed on the form. No questions about the abuse. I attend to my interview last week and was super smooth and I was approved on the spot. There’s absolutely no reason to be afraid, they will just check the info on I-485 form . Good luck 🍀

congrats once that is approved u have 85% chances of greencard approval went through same process, got my greencard last month.
